8 Best Coffee Shops in Sault Ste. Marie

“First I’d like to mention that I’ve eaten here several times and it’s outstanding. I’d continue my patronage 100%. That being said, I’m compelled to write a review this time as my most recent experience was less than average, and I was disappointed. We attended there on Saturday Aug 16th, I ordered the Halibut and the portion was small as well as overcooked, the fish was hard and tough. The stewed chick peas were tasty but didn’t complement the fish well and the tomato salad was cold making the rest of the dish cold. I appreciate the effort but it wasn’t a cohesive dish. For $45 it was not worth the price. I had the peach, mozzarella salad with coppa and again I was disappointed. Peaches weren’t grilled or sautéed, just cut up with the mozzarella and dressed with thinly sliced coppa and torn basil, and chili crisp, nothing special and again it could have used something else to be more cohesive and for $24 I was not impressed. Ice cream sundae was tasty but the again it was cut up peaches over soft serve. Drinks were good. I’ll go back again because as stated above the food is almost always impeccable but this visit was disappointing. Cheers.“

“Absolutely love the coffee (best in town), Unfortunately they did mess up our breakfast giving us an English muffin instead of a bagel breakfast sandwich. They were switching in between two females taking our breakfast order...personally they should have only one doing the drive-through and the other at the cash.“

“For the Sault this is a great spot on the main road. Here every time I am coming through town. Service is great, they have a nice little patio outside if it isn’t too baking hot. It’s a good size store clean and tidy and bathrooms are clean, which is always a nice bonus. I would recommend stopping here whether on your way through or to come with a friend and have a chat.“

“the two ladies working today were really nice. i didnt catch their names but one of them has brown hair and the other had brownish orange. gave them a $20 tip for their services :) they made the drinks very quickly and brought a very nice vibe to my dad today.“

“Just a small note: when someone asks for light ice, it usually means a bit less than the standard amount, not one scoop and a half. On two occasions I asked for light ice and unfortunately didn’t receive it.

I didn’t mention it at the time because I don’t like to waste food or drinks, but I wanted to share the feedback kindly in hopes it helps for the future.“

“Wandering Canadian review! By sheer chance I needed to stop here (only 1/5 thru a long road trip) and I'm sure glad I did.

It was turning into one of those days where things weren't exactly going right for the team. But damn, they still kept a smile on their face and did everything they could to make the customers happy.

Seriously, I even got a surprise sandwich.
