“I ate here for dinner, having walked over from my hotel. There restaurant was empty except for me and two couples, although there seemed to be a steady takeout business. It is not a large place, there’s only one table for a group of more than four. I ordered the chicken mughlai with garlic naan and a mango lassi. Unfortunately they were out of mango, so I had hot tea instead (orange pekoe). The food was delicious. I probably could have eaten the entire bowl, but in an attempt to not overeat on this trip I took about a third of it back to the hotel for tomorrow. The naan was warm, oily, garlicky, and herby. It was almost pizza. I did eat every scrap of that! Service was very good. My server was attentive and refilled my water glass whenever it got low. Both of the employees I saw were very welcoming and pleasant to guests. I would recommend this place for a delicious, filling, relaxing meal.“
“This place changed my mind about food to be honest and I don't say that lightly. Their Tikka Masala is one of the best dishes I've ever had and the best Indian food in town (I've had all of them). When I had it with fresh Bhatura it was a match made in heaven and I'll be recommending this to anyone wanting to try something new. Also there's plenty of veg options which isn't the most common in this city. If you want atmosphere go to Taj, if you want bang for your buck it's Tandoori, if you want the best all around food it's this place imo.“
“First time eating at Taj and I can't praise it enough!! The atmosphere, our amazing server who was so helpful in recommending/described dishes and of course the food that was literally some of the best food I've ever eaten!!! I 100% will be telling everyone to go there!!! You gotta try the Gobi Manchurian so delicious!!!“
