The food was terrible — it honestly felt like they just defrosted and served frozen items. The only thing that actually tasted decent was the curd we ordered.

To make things worse, the utensils were dirty. When we sent them back and asked for clean ones, they gave us disposable cups and cutlery instead. That’s just ridiculous — have some courtesy and respect for your customers. Definitely not worth the price.

The food was awful, as if defrosting and serving the frozen food, the only good tasting was the curd we ordered, like literally.

The plates and glasses were not cleaned. The staff replaced them with disposable ones. Most of the food seemed like the frosted one being defrosted. Not expected that when they are charging a premium price for everything.

I just pick the order from The taj restaurant amd the order is daal makhni, chicken bariyani and naan, tandoori roti .The food taste is soo bad and roti naan are hard like stone
I recommend don’t visit the store

Ordered takeout tonight and made it all the way home to realize there’s no rice included in the meal. $31 for a tiny bowl of curry and 2 pieces of naan? Insanely expensive for what you get, would’ve much rather bought the ingredients and made it at home. Wouldn’t recommend.

Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish
From the moment we walked in, there was no greeting or smile from the staff — not exactly a warm welcome. We ordered the Paneer Tikka, Lamb Korma, Tandoori Chicken Sizzler, two Chais, one beer, and one Mango Lassi. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavour across the board.

The Tandoori Chicken came in large chunks and was dry and tough inside. The Paneer pieces were also oversized and bland on the inside. The Lamb Korma was mostly fatty pieces, and the curry resembled a thick, flavourless paste rather than a rich, spiced sauce.

The Mango Lassi was overwhelmingly sweet, and the chai tasted off — almost like it had been brewed in a dirty cloth. We had also requested hot water upon arrival and were served lukewarm tap water.

Overall, a very underwhelming experience both in terms of food and hospitality.

I wish I could give 0 for the service. Worst customer service ever received. No one attended us. Called different individuals 3 times. No one attended us and had to leave without eating after half an hour.

The food was nice . I have 4 stars because the food did not have optimum salt. It was a bit less. Other than that, the atmosphere and service was very good.
