“I ordered a cake slab from Irresistible Cakes (icakes) just a few days before my event, and the process was seamless. Their customer service was fantastic throughout! However, on the day of the event, I found myself stuck on the DVP for 3 hours due to an unexpected highway closure (yes, I was late). To make things worse, there was a mix-up with the delivery address – Ave instead of Rd.

Thankfully, icakes went above and beyond by instructing the driver to reroute, even though they didn’t have to, and I was beyond grateful for their flexibility. I can’t guarantee they’d do this for everyone, as they have a pretty thorough policy, but their willingness to help saved the day.

Luckily, someone was at the event to receive the cake, and it was a hit with everyone! Huge thanks to icakes for the excellent experience, and a special shoutout to the driver! Of course, I made sure to tip!“

“We’d recommend Jac & Jill’s to any one looking for dessert! We went in specifically for some ice cream - we chose the s’mores and the chocolate flavours. Both were high quality, creamy and smooth. While we were there we also picked up a (impromptu) walk-on mini cake to take home. Our sweet tooth has been satisfied. We’ll be back!“

“I was having an insane day and needed a last minute cake, so I called this location. Janet picked up my call and was an absolute angel who was helpful, patient, and gave me great advice based on my needs. She turned a stressful situation around for me completely and I really appreciate it! I've had cakes and macarons from Daan Go before, so I know how great the quality and taste is, but also wanted to give a shout out to the amazing service too <3“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“I have been eating them all wrong!! 🙈 Did you know they were supposed to be enjoyed fresh right away?! Today I had one the proper way. And it’s like I found a totally new donut. Crispy on the outside and mochi on the inside. It’s like they were popping donuts! The owner was so kind. And he shared with me how they are so serious about fresh donuts that if a donut isn’t sold in the timeframe they are supposed to be enjoyed, it’s thrown out. Guaranteed fresh! “This is our second visit and both times the staff have been very friendly. They recommended the mango pomelo sago drink our first time and it was so good, we went back for more! We’ll be back again for sure, they have lots of treats on the menu.“

“Cozy, elegant atmosphere with wonderful cakes, pastries, and sweets to match. Beautiful presentation on everything and rich flavours.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is accessible—double doors with mechanical opener. Inside has tables that should be tall enough to be accessible if you request staff move one of the chairs. Washroom is available for customers but likely not accessible to wheelchair users.“

You put a smile on so many faces because of these beautiful cookies. “I did the cake workshop with my partner. The workshop is $250 for one person plus an additional $50 for a second person.

It may seem expensive at first glance, but I felt the workshop was really worth it! The instructor was really kind and patient. She explained the process and she answered any questions I had about the baking. She was knowledgeable with the science and why we do things a certain way when it comes to baking. As someone with an interest in baking, this was really helpful and productive for my own future baking adventures!

The cake turned out great. The chiffon cake itself without the whipped cream and fruits was so soft! I loved how we had creative freedom to decorate the top of the cake on our own near the end. I would highly recommend this as a date activity or with a friend :)“

“My experience was amazing from the first conversation! My daughter had a vision for her 4th birthday cake (The shape and decorations were a little different to normal young people cakes) and this wonderful human brought it to life!!! Nothing was too hard for her even if my requests were a little weird. When we picked up the cake my daughters face said it all. And then to top other off the my guests loved the taste. Cannot wait to need a cake again soon!“

“Originally mangoes were out of season and the customer service did not recommend ordering mango milk cake, but my mango head really wanted to eat mango?The result! I was shocked when I got it! The mangoes are sweet and fresh! ! ! Friends love it! ! !“

She will answer all your questions patiently and the best part is that her cakes not only look gorgeous but they also taste amazing which is not always easy to find. “Many unique Asian bakery items you may not have seen beforeGot these iced cream buns. Not ice cream. Imagine putting cream into the fridge so it’s a little firmer, but still creamy and light to the bite.So good to throw it inside a bun and with flavours! The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “I tried the monthly flavour and decided to stay with an old time favourite. Originally, the flavour I loved was raspberry cheesecake but it was replaced by a similar type several years ago. I purchased a kid size of strawberry cheesecake. Servers were helpful and friendly. Outdoor patio in front of the store is happening.“
