To be completely dramatic... I almost collapsed when I approached and saw the furniture all in the parking lot while they were taking the signs down :(

Idk who thought of replacing it with a chicken place but it's shocking since there is SO much already here like.... but anyways RIP DAMAS

We always have very tasty food & excellent service from Damas. I want to give you some advise. You have the best location among all the other restaurants in the area. All you need is to work more aggressively on social media (like having a Facebook page with regular updates and new deals). Also, work more aggressively with UberEats and Skip the Dishes with new deals on a regular basis.
Other restaurants regularly announce new deals through them so it's in your best interest to do that. Also, pay a little bit of attention to improve your interior and exterior (posting attractive sign outside the shop) as it looks outdated.

Natural wood decor in a cozy family-friendly atmosphere. Hand washing station right in dining room is so beautiful and very handy.

Vegetarian options: Many Vegetarian options on menu like Grilled Veggies + Falafel + Various Salads + Fresh Juice Bar

Parking: Entrances from both Victoria Park and Lawrence. Ample parking spots.

Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly dinning room area.

I used to love Damas. I used to live in that area, so used to visit them quite often before the pendamic (2020).

I just tried it again today and very disappointed with the quality.

I tired their two shawarma combo. Price has been raised from $13 to $16. I am fine with it. But the portion of fries given with the combo was not enough for two people.

My chicken inside the shawarma was cold too. Do not believe a 7 second walk from store to the car can make such difference.

Juicyness is also missing in their chicken.

It used to taste much better before the pendamic.

I hope they regain their lost glory.

Mainly it serves Mediterranean cuisine/food. Warm and tasty food. Excellent decoration with natural feel. Foods are excellent
