The taste is pretty good, but the service attitude is so bad. At first, I thought the waiter was mute and I didn’t dare to say anything until I saw her playing with her mobile phone and sending voice messages. I asked you to ask the boss for a tip.

I recently visited Dong Kee Chinese Restaurant and was very disappointed with the service. Tony, one of the staff members, was unprofessional, impolite, and seemed to lack basic knowledge about the menu. He rushed us throughout our visit, making the experience uncomfortable and unenjoyable.

Customer service is a key part of dining out, and this kind of behavior falls far below expectations. I would highly recommend dining at Royal Chinese, First Choice, Perfect Chinese, or Congee Queen instead, as they consistently offer much better service and food quality.

Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Dong Kee anytime soon.

i ordered chicken noodle and it took over 20 mins to come. we also asked them about it three times( it did not come). the noodle was also taste less it was just brown water.

Terrible service. We made a reservation for 6pm and some of our friends arrive first. When they went in they were asked to leave as “not everyone arrived”. My friends went back at 6:20pm and were told that once all of our group arrived, they would have a table for us, we proceeded to arrive at 6:25pm and was then told that we would have to wait for the next table to leave to seat us. He continuously lied to us, making it seem as if it was our problem that they did not leave a table for our reservation. The server also told us multiple times that he did not have time to deal with us and told us to just wait outside.

I made a reservation for six o'clock a few days in advance. My friends arrived at six o'clock first. Then the front desk kicked my friends out and told us that we wouldn't be allowed in until everyone was there. After we all arrived, they told us that there were no seats. If I have to wait in line, what’s the point of making an appointment?

Are you not embarrassed? Look at the clams, mostly are empty and filled space with lettuce. I had probably total 10 clam meat. Shame on you!

Old school bustling Cantonese restaurant. No frills robust flavors tasty food. Gets packed and if you want to order their signature yellow eel rice casserole, better call in advance. Usually a wait too, but you can call ahead and reserve a table as well.

Vegetarian options: a good amount of veggie dishes

Parking: free parking, but the lot fills up amd you may have to wait for a spot at times

Wheelchair accessibility: not the best for wheelchaired individuals...restaurant gets packed and full...tight spaces

Went there on Friday at 6:00. Didn’t need to wait for 2-person seating. Eel rice is good for 4 to 6 people, eel tofu soup is included in the price . Eel tofu soup is very white peppery. Steamed chicken is yummy, garlic spareribs is super tasty. Cost me $98 including 10 % tips on the bill by default . Called to reserve for 2 - person seating, but told us they have been asking 4 - person seating to queue up upon arrival too. I think they only accept reservations for big tables and they said no need to call and reserve the eel rice. Just place order upon ordering. So it is different from the reviews I have read.

The bean sprouts are particularly tender and the eel rice is delicious. It’s a bit much for two people.
