How does this place only have 4 stars ? This is a 5 star in my heart. I love this place their doubles are beyond lovely and consistent as all hell. The atmosphere is super calm inviting and and clean.

Probably the nastiest looking and soggiest double I ever had, tasted good tho. Minus one star for generic grace peanut punch.

The best doubles in the GTA. Great friendly service and lots of space to sit and enjoy. Great background music as well. Keep it up. 👍

Please be careful when order here, this place needs training on customer service. I support this business and even their food truck for years. Last time I ordered a veggie platter they was one item not available instead of informing me they just added whatever they felt like. Today, I order a chicken pelau. The portion size was super small with one piece of meat for almost $20 and it was soggy and overcooked. I contacted the store and they told me to call Uber, with even an apology. Clearly, this business is in for the money and have customer interest at heart. This place is so overpriced and barely has no special on Uber. Black people, be smart. We need to do better. I don't feel good calling them out but the ignorant response I got when when I contacted the store was a trigger for me.

So so disappointed, got the Rice and Peas with Jerk Chicken and it was very salty, the rice we could and eat, the chicken was ok but still too salty. For the price and small portion was disgraceful, I always got doubles only, second time I got food and both times could not eat, very disappointed.

We came here twice before and enjoyed the food. This was our third time and our family's first time and we were excited for them to try Drupatis food. However, the night left us disappointed. The service was horrible. No one asked to take our drink orders or did follow up check up through the meals. We had to ask for water, and drinks. Hot water was served in a plastic jug...
We were served on paper plates initially, and my husband was upset. We had to ask to be served on regular plates. And we also wrote down our order because no one came to ask us lol. We pretty much did the servers job and yet were charged a service fee. They also forgot the last half of our order so we ended up waiting longer for the food and when it came out it was salty and not to their usual taste. Honestly, we liked drupati meal before but last night was a disappointment.

Thank you Mr Chef for tasty meal. I ordered Pepper shrimp fried rice and I love it. The fried shrimp has the real taste of sea food. Both sauces on the side were tasty. I wish the portion could be more for take out orders like the big portion we get when we eat inside the restaurant. There are free parking lots and many seats if you are planning coming with your family or group of friends.

It’s very hard to find an authentic Caribbean restaurant in downtown Toronto so I headed out to Scarborough. I’ve heard of Dave’s and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered a chicken roti and it was very good. It was warm, juicy, medium spicy and very tasty.
