Cool little cozy spot for food. Came to grab takeout, the place is small that's what makes it cozy. If ordering takeout, there is a "waiting area" to the left of the ordering counter. If you're going to wait in that area, either let them know or periodically go up and check for your order because they may not realize you're waiting there (you can see the staff at the counter from there)...[ El Cubano ] - The sandwich was good. It had a nice crunch to the bread and was loaded with cheese and meat. The mustard sure helps balance things out (I'm not usually a mustard guy but it works well in this)[ Fries ] - Was seasoned well but a bit salty. Would probably ask for less/no salt if possible next time. (Sorta reminds me of Mc D's level of salt on their fries)[ Churros ] - taste awesome I like the texture of it. Has a nice satisfying crunch to the outside and the sugar sprinkled on it doesn't make it overly sweet. Would make a trip here for the churros alone.I enjoyed the food. Would like it if the staff was a bit more attentive.

After watching "Chef" the movie (highly recomme d) I looked for Cuban sandwiches ? but the only places were in downtown but lo and behold there is a God and I found this hidden gem ? called El Habanero & Churrobar in the heart of Scarborough. Still gotta try the rest of the menu but if you had to go I would order the El Cubano (Cuban Sandwich) ? and Yuca Supreme Fries ?. The taste of the Yuca Supreme was magical although they could add a but more green onions. The sandwich is good balance of meat, bread, cheese and pickles. Go for the daily specials on Wednesday... the Cuban sandwich is only $10. I am going to bring friends to try other menu items. Can't wait till January 31st ... dine in available. ? ?

I don't know what a traditional Cuban sandwich is supposed to taste like but this sandwich is tasty - good bun, meat, cheese, mustard ratio. It comes with a side fries which are battered, crispy and well seasoned (my guess is the fries are seasoned with salt, garlic & parsley??). Cortadito was a nice finish to the meal and balanced out well with the sweetness of the dulce de leche filled churro. A cozy place to go with a small group of people (I don't recommend a group of more than 4).

Amazing Food and Friendly Staff, Upon entering I loved the place. The food is fresh and authentic Cuban food. The staff are so friendly and would always check on you from time to time to see if everything was to your liking. We tried El Campeón, Yuca Supreme and Picadillo Fries. For dessert we tried 1 Churro and One Dulce Del Leche filled churros. Everything was really good.

This place is great! They offer an extensive selection of food and churros. I exclusively came here to try their churros. They were an amazing size and I preferred the stuffed ones to the plain churros. The server was quite friendly as well. I can’t wait to go back!

ordered their classic currros cake for new years ! and it was amazing. the cake was a simple but amazing cake and the dolce de leche on top was to die for. picked up a coffee while I was there and was fantastic the perfect pick me up!! must place to try.

Absolutely loved this spot. Hope to see it grow more and more. Food was just phenomenal !! Went in when it opened with a group of 9. Decided on this spot the night before and wasn’t sure if they’d be able to accommodate. Arrived upon opening for a group lunch and right away the owner advised what we were to expect on short notice. We received our drinks and appetizers quickly to get us started while our mains were prepared. Our group tried many different items on the menu and we were all completely satisfied and happy with the taste presentation and quality of the food. Will definitely visit again and strongly recommend.

Yum yum, just yum! I ordered a churro cheesecake for my husbands birthday, and dear lord, it was so good! Friendly, accommodating woman packaged it up, and with no fuss or muss I was on my way. DE-lightful!!

Got the El Cubano which is the pressed pork sandwich with an upgraded side yuca Supreme fries. Sandwich meat was a bit dry but cheese was very generous in its serving and was overall very filling. Yuca Supreme fries were the highlight of the meal and I've never really had something like it. Would definitely recommend others to try it out.It's good to have more variety in the neighborhood and I'll probably be back to try the other sandwiches.

Stopped by here for dessert and got: - Churro Parfait: Chunks of churros in icecream with a bit of chocolate sauce on it. Churros were crispy and generically sweet, ice cream was plain, and it was a bit hard to eat with a plastic spoon. Also a bit pricey for what you got. Looks pretty though! - Churros with Dulce de Leche: Same churro, but filled. Dulce de leche wasn't overly sweet, which was nice. - Cafe Con Chocolat and Cafe Con Leche: Nothing notable on taste. Space was good for hanging out, service was efficient and patient. Seemed to be good for lunch and takeout orders as well. Overall, ok.

The yuca was so unique, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and super filling. Same with the chicken in the la cubana main, I loved how flavorful it was.They're also known for their desserts and have a fridge full of delicious goodies I'd love to try out next time.

delicious they have the best food!. the churros are soft ,crunchy and warm ,these churros are probably the best i have ever had and i had a lot of churros in my life .i also recommend the yuca supreme the yuca is nice and crispy, but on the inside it is airy and soft . the employees are very nice and the food comes out very fast .

Hosted an event with Michelle and Angel this past weekend. They are fantastic! Our guests are still raving!!! The food was spectacular and such a hit. The event was for a bridal shower and they were so welcoming, their staff extra helpful we are so happy and look forward to more events with them. From planning to food selection Michelle and Angel went over and above. The churro charcuterie was such a wonderful experience for the guests. Beautiful presentation and we couldn’t get enough. Great spot for and event, a quick bite, date spot this will be your new go to. Thank you for everything :)
