Delicious, authentic Greek food with generous portions and excellent service. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

Very good food and service
I visited this store tonight because one of my friend recommended it. Surprisingly, the store doesn’t take credit or debit card as payment option, they accept cash only. Fine, their business, their call but we found plastic in our salad and thats what is unacceptable. It’s a food safety concern, someone should be taking responsibility for this!!
amazing food ,only cash
Good food and portions are well worth what you pay for
Esquire has been legendary food place for many years for me. Chicken sovlaki and Gyros dinners are my favorite.
I am a loyal customer to Esquire for more than 20 years with having fond memories with even introducing my kids to the great food. Whenever I feel like Greek food I will come to the establishment to eat. I have noticed that portion sizes have gone down significantly. I do notice when you eat in person though the plate is full and presentation looks great. I was not able to eat in and told them to pack my souvlaki dinner to go. When I arrived home and opened the container I was extremely disappointed. I understand the price of food has gone up but if you are paying $20 for a dinner I believe the container should be filled to a decent amount. Also, the potatoes and rice were dry as there was no sauce. Not something I’m used to. I remember the cook that was there before he was so generous with the food and tasted amazing. The souvlaki chunks were bigger and now much smaller. I would be so full after eating even unable to finish. I know he is no longer there due to his sudden passing however it shouldn’t have changed because I know he mentored the staff. You will also notice the photo of the burnt potato. Cheaping out just makes you lose customers. It’s a great feeling leaving a restaurant knowing you spent a bit more but it was worth it. It’s my fault though because I should have opened the container before I left and spoke to them but I was in a rush. If you are raising prices be fair to your customers. It’s simply not right. I will never order take out again. However, on a positive note I did order Greek fries and that was packed fully in the container and was delicious. Your food is delicious but consider fixing this as I would hate not to return.

First time visiting.
Portions are decent. Taste is good. Employees not so good.
Cash only is crazy for 2026.
Most likely won't be coming back.

Classic. The best. Fresh. Delicious.
Food tastes very good. However, it’s a cash-only business, which makes life hard in 2026. The typical buying process for a customer looks like this: you walk into the restaurant, you look at the menu, you state your order, then, shoot!, you read the sticker that says they only accept cash, you ask the cashier to confirm that information, you go back to your car to check if you have any cash, and if you have it, you come and pay. If you don’t, there is an ATM machine in the store operated by the business that takes $1.5 fee every time you withdraw cash! Not a smart move. This is also creating traffic in the restaurant of people going in and out.
Also, the order took too long to be ready. We just ordered 6 souvlaki pitas, took ~22 min and they forgot that it was 6 (there was just 3), so we told them that it’s 6, they asked for a receipt to confirm, and then made the other 3 souvlakis. That took an additional ~ 5 min.
Clearly, better management and business model is needed.

I had a terrible experience here today during my lunch hour. Been going here 25+ years but noticed a decline over the last couple of years in customer service and food quality. I ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner. The place was EMPTY and there were a couple of Uber orders on the counter waiting for pickup. After 15 minutes I inquired about my order, and was told they were waiting for the rice to finish, it would be another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, I asked them to just my pack my order to go, at which point I noticed the young man began shoving the old stale rice into my container. I told him no, since I already waited so long, to put the fresh rice in my container (which was the original reason the order was taking so long), he then said it would be another 20-25 minutes on top of the 25 minutes I was already waiting! He was completely unapologetic. I asked for a refund, and left. My entire lunch hour was wasted. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

So happy since a friend introduced me to this place 4 weeks ago. Good memory and will be returning again - today!
Food is good as ever, price is justifying and service is good
Great quality. Order ahead for takeout. I recommend the gyro or chicken souvlaki.
You will love this place! The chicken souvlaki dinner or on a pita...EXCELLENT! The food is fantastic! There is a wait sometimes due to food being made to order, but it is worth the wait!
