Whenever I am in the area doing weekend groceries or getting takeout for the family. I have to stop at Real Fruit Bubble Tea. My family's favourites are the original milk tea with tapioca, taro milk tea with tapioca, pineapple smoothie or the strawberry smoothie with red beans. We have never been disappointed here.
Was doing some shopping and this shop caught my attention. Was a bit nippish and tried out this newly opened bubble waffle and tea shop. They have quite the selection but with ac tea time special, why not. The staff is very friendly and service is quite fast. One area I appreciated is as the staff prepares the tea, they taste test each batch to ensure quality before they allow that batch be served. The bubble waffles are freshly prepared and even have a sample box for you to try. The crust is nice and crunchy where as the inside is yummyliciously fluffy. It could do with a bit more custard powder but that's just my take but it's good none the less. There are many selections to choose from and will need to come back to try out the rest of their goodies.Nice to have a different selection.Btw, did i mention they sell flowers and plants inside? They have a small and nice selection of easy care plants and flowers if you are in the mood for a stem or two...
BEWARE of this shop! I brought flowers for my mom on Mother’s Day, and picked out a bouquet I liked. I noticed several of the flowers were wilted, so I mentioned it to the shopkeeper. At first he said the flowers were freshly cut, and didn’t want to do anything about it. I am not going to pay $28 for wilted flowers. Then he said he would have the flowers changed to sunflowers as he called them. When my daughter looked, only one was placed in the bouquet instead of 2. My daughter also noticed one of the lilies looked like it was about to die on us. Then again I mentioned it to the shopkeeper, and the ladies that were arranging the bouquet looked quite annoyed. Instead of replacing the lily flower with another lily, they gave me a carnation. I honestly didn’t want to deal with these dishonest people again and decided not to argue with them. Next time I will go to an actual florist who only sells flowers, not bubble tea and flowers together. So unhygienic!
