Traditional Chinese fried dough stick (you tiao) ~such a nostalgic and eye-catching old-school frying setup! I couldn’t resist and ended up bringing home a bowl of chicken congee and a piece of you tiao. Still hot when I got back, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely delicious.

I’ve bought take outs from time to time. Every time the cashier would make up some random amounts to charge which always seems a little over the list price. No receipt, always oral order and cash. Dishonest business practice. Food is so so except the deep fried items which are good. I’ve stopped going for years now.

They try so hard to up sale even though I already put down the exact change for the items that i order. The owner just randomly made up an amount to pay. Then I confronted her two days ago I ordered the exact same thing but it was lesser amount

I went there 3 times, 2 out of the 3 times my Minced Beef congee and Fresh Beef congee gave me funny sour taste and I gave up on the third time. There are way better places for congee, but the deep fried products are good when hot, but never 20 minutes after!!! Way too greasy!!!! Stay away from the Won Ton!!!!

Not recommended, the portion is small, the price has increased by 30%, the funniest thing is that the store actually added water to the seasoning to save money

I’ve been coming here for years (pre-pandemic) and never realized I never left a review. 😅

What we like about this place is their consistency in quality. The congee is not too watery and not too thick. Service as fast and the fried dough sticks and other deep fried goods are always fresh because they sell so much of them so they’re constantly making more.

Prices have gone up from when we first came here, sure, but so have many other congee places. This is still our favorite place for congee.

The cashier charges more than the correct total amounts (menu prices plus HST) every time I pay. Please be careful when paying.

Been coming here for a long time . You have a lot of Congee choice or you can customize if you want . Boss lady is great and always get orders done right and price is reasonable.

Purposely I drove and try this take out place because of great word of mouth. I ordered pork liver congee, congee base is great, but the pork liver was already blanched, so it is not in soft texture. In my opinion, was disappointing to me. The fried dough lived up to their reputation, there is not many places producing 牛脷酥 fresh. I can tell, the owner puts in much efforts in this place. Kudos to their entrepreneurship. The seating location must be managed better by the mall management, the recycling boxes are all scattered in the food consumption area, it is a health and fire risks.

Great price and friendly owners. A little bit heavy on carb side of things, so you need to order more or extra meat to balance things out. Service is great and easy to order takeout.

This congee and rice rolls is inside a grocery supermarket that use to be T&T Supermarket. Parking is plentiful and lots of tables if you want dine-in. Kinda cheap compare to others. I had beef congee and dough fritters for $8.50 with tax. Congee had lots of garlic and has peanuts. I enjoyed the meal. Worth a try!!!

Full of porridge. The porridge and noodles are average, but the Tingzi porridge lacks ingredients. The lo mein was salty. The worst was the carrot cake, which was like mashed potatoes. Very unpalatable.
