Traditional Chinese fried dough stick (you tiao) ～such a nostalgic and eye-catching old-school frying setup! I couldn’t resist and ended up bringing home a bowl of chicken congee and a piece of you tiao. Still hot when I got back, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely delicious.
I’ve been coming here for years (pre-pandemic) and never realized I never left a review. 😅
What we like about this place is their consistency in quality. The congee is not too watery and not too thick. Service as fast and the fried dough sticks and other deep fried goods are always fresh because they sell so much of them so they’re constantly making more.

Purposely I drove and try this take out place because of great word of mouth. I ordered pork liver congee, congee base is great, but the pork liver was already blanched, so it is not in soft texture. In my opinion, was disappointing to me. The fried dough lived up to their reputation, there is not many places producing 牛脷酥 fresh. I can tell, the owner puts in much efforts in this place. Kudos to their entrepreneurship. The seating location must be managed better by the mall...
