My go-to order is tomato and beef brisket noodle soup. Depending on my mood I'll either get rice noodles or egg noodles. Hey Noodles is like a 3.5 stars resto to me. It's better than Magic Noodles and kinda on par w/ Yunshang Rice Noodles imo. Definitely doesn't clear Deer Garden (I'm biased because I love the peanut and chili soup base there). One thing it DOES have that's nice is unlimited noodle refills. The beef brisket quality is very inconsistent. Most of the time you're given beef tendons instead of actual brisket. They just cut them in brisket-sized pieces. Tbh it is kinda scammy but other times I'll get actual brisket meat. The meat quality is like the one major gripe I have with this place. They give you so little and whatever they do give you is not tender! The tendons are usually chewy af. Broth is decent. I haven't tried the sesame paste/peanut butter sauce and I'm very curious how it is so one of these visits I'll try to convince myself to order it up.

I used to come here often, but I haven't been here for a while. Today I suddenly remembered and came here to eat. I always ordered slightly spicy and slightly spicy before, but this time the noodles were neither spicy nor salty. The noodles just tasted like boiled noodles in white water. The soup was soup and the noodles were noodles. The two of us sat there for about ten minutes. It wasn't very tasty so we took it away. I gave 38 yuan in cash for 36 yuan, and after the waiter finished counting, he came back to ask for a tip. I said I would give it to 38, and she rolled her eyes and left. First, there was no service, second, the food was not good, and third, after sitting for ten minutes in total, I don’t know how she had the nerve to ask for a tip and still roll her eyes. I don’t know if this restaurant has been run by someone else, but the food doesn’t look too ugly now.

Got the tomato and pork rib noodle. It was hot and fresh, but the food was just average. The tomato flavor was lacking, with very few tomato pieces. I got mild spice and mild numbing - note this was a bit too much for me and they provided a clear soup to dilute the flavor which was appropriate response. I got egg noodle which was slightly thick and it did not seems home made. Service was quick. I got this at 10pm and it came quickly which was appreciated but I would not come here for a meal I want to slowly enjoy.

Came here for their another new store opening promotion to try out this chain. The service was quick but the food can take a while to come out. They had their Chongqing Noodles for promo at $1 (regular $8). There are different levels of spicy and numbness you can choose. The dumplings is so-so, but the yan-su chicken is pretty good. Overall experience is good. The Chongqing Noodles is on the smaller portion
