It's one of the best places to stop for Indian/Sri Lankan sweets and snacks.

Sweets are just fine. Not like high level. Privewise not bad

This sweet shop was in Nashdene Ave in Scarborough and I was a regular customer there. Since they moved to this new location the food and service went really bad now. I don’t know whether the ownership changed or not, but overall food quality very poor and the customer service was extremely very poor. This store owned and operated by SriLankan Tamils when they were in Nashdene Ave and food and customer service was excellent but now the workers are Indians and I think the owner also Indian because now they have more Indian sweets than our SriLankan sweets.

Came by today and the lady at the front was kind and super helpful in helping us decide what to pick! We ended up buying an assortment of snacks and sweets. Definitely try the alwa and the thothal! Will definitely return in the future :)

I visited the store yesterday evening. I ordered many things in person, I asked 1 employee if they had more in the back and she said yes I’ll go pack it for you, then the lady who attends customers at the cashier asked us if we’re getting anything else (she was rushing us to cash out) I said yes I’m getting more things the other lady went to the back for it, than she told me we don’t have enough in the back with out confirming that there wasn’t enough (she was very rude and her customer service skills were poor).

After I noticed her attitude I cancelled the order and before leaving I apologized to the other employee who packed the order for me and the front cashier lady said “I don’t need your apology” (very arrogantly).

When I left the store I directly called the owner and he came to the store, talked to that lady and never called me back (he didn’t care) is this how you handle a customer complaint?

After this situation, I will never place another order here again!
