J & J Kapuso Filipino Restaurant

Everytime I’m around Scarborough, I always make sure to pass by J&J and buy meals (ulam). One thing I’m sure of is that their food is always so good. Meats are tender and all of the food I bought are so tasty. My favourite is their Caldereta and the Kare-kare. I can also say that the lovely server was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY SCAMMERS!!! I'VE CANCELLED MY ORDER BEFORE THEY STARTED MAKING IT!!
I ordered through Uber Eats and cancelled within a minute, but they charged me a $28 cancellation fee. This is ridiculous and FEELS LIKE SCAM!!!!—I'm paying for nothing since I didn’t receive the food I paid for.

My go to Filipino spot...close to home...it has a small eating area...food always hot...Tita Beth always happy to help....chicken chicharon always available and so affordable. I bring my dad there to eat cuz he likes watching Filipino channel thats on all day. Gotta try it :)

I was there for the first time with my sister to get my ear pierced in the same plaza this cafe was located.
I was so happy that I found this cafe as I arrived too early for my appointment and I was hungry....I found this cafe was opened and It was such a Friendly and beautiful place. The breakfast was great and the coffee was amazing!
You will really feel at home here as I returned to the cafe for lunch after my appointment.
The ladies wh served us were very lovely and hospitable.
The food was so satisfying.
I look forward to going back again.

Went here for a bday because they were craving Kamayan. Love the idea of individual boxes especially when u have leftovers it's easy to take home. There was so much food for the price, definitely worth it! Thank you for making my mom's day special, customer service was great and food was yummy!

I live in Markham but when im in east scarborough this is a must visit. My fave is their veggie lumpia and kare kare. I used to get their boodle boxes.

Pancit and Fried Breaded Squid were so delicious, but would be better if the squid’s plastic-like membrane was removed…

We planned to eat in, but because weather was very hot that day, we ended up taking out the food we bought; no AC…

Bare bones Filipino take out that has a small seating area and does catering orders.

I’ve been to this place a few times. Food is consistent and good quality.

I’ve tried the Jake in the Box - enough food for 2 ppl in my opinion.

I’ve ordered bbq sticks - both pork and chicken have a good quantity of meat and juicy. Personally I wish they weren’t smothered in so much sauce.

The Lumpiang Shanghai are tasty and available in pork and chicken as well.

The food was really good,unfortunately the staff wasnt really pleasant and accomodating,a little smile can go a mile..it makes you uncomfortable even you enjoyed the food..the athmosphere makes a difference..konting ngiti po it doesnt cost you a penny.

I was a loyal customer until they cancelled my Uber orders. The first time it happened, I was notified last minute without any explanation. Yesterday I scheduled the order for delivery today and received confirmation. However, the order was again cancelled this morning at the last minute, again without any explanation. So disappointing!

Missing item. Ordered 2 tapsilog and chicken friedrice but i just only received only 1 tapsilog. Took a picture for reference
