Food is decent and the prices are fair. Never busy around lunch time. The service has improved greatly. Not as flashy as the new breed of Vietnamese restaurants that have opened in the GTA.
Plenty of parking, but it does get busy with a supermarket so close by. Be cautious of the concrete islands that separate parts of the parking lot because they are placed haphazardly - they should really redo the parking lot spaces to increase efficiency and make it easier and safer to park your car.
If you are in the area and craving some old fashioned Pho, check out this neighborhood restaurant.
One of the best pho in Scarborough!
We had the house special pho - generous portions and affordable.
Will return for sure.
It's a nice place. I had the veg pad tai and I have literally eaten a thousand of these dishes and this was among the best I've ever had. It was big, and full of veggies and tofu, not the usual where each time you come across one you feel like you were given a gift, and you react with a mixed feeling of being pleasantly surprised yet disappointed that you're pleasantly surprised.
Is definitely recommend it.
Came here for lunch when Pine House Cafe was too full. This place, on the other hand, was empty. Should have listened to my gut and left when I saw how empty it was. Our party of 6 ordered a few rice and noodle dishes. Because we had kids with us, we asked for extra bowls so the kids could have a bowl of rice and a bowl of noodles, but the lady had a bit of attitude about giving us more bowls when we asked a second time. Like I get that it's a bit of a drag to have more dishes to wash, but c'mon... This is a restaurant! You should be accustomed to washing dishes. Speaking of dishes, the bowl I got was dirty... Had a piece of green onion stuck on the bottom but didn't even complain about that. But I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and it was a lot of coffee grounds in the actual coffee, which was unappetizing. But the grossest part was that they gave me a travel thermos along with the coffee and it had tea splatter all over the sides so it looked like they gave me one of the waitress' drinking bottle by mistake. I looked inside and I realized it contained hot water, I guess it was to refill the coffee if I wanted to. Pho was ok, but broth wasn't that great. There wasn't much meat considering I ordered a large, really had to ration the meat carefully to make sure there was enough meat to go with the noodles at the bottom. Lemongrass pork was tasty, rice was cooked fine. Wouldn't go back because the staff were so unfriendly and the dishes were dirty.
Excellent soup. Clean restaurant. Friendly service.
I don’t want to give any points! ! ! The waiter's face is disgusting??The waiter with the short ponytail is so cute. As soon as we walked in, he made a look like he didn't welcome us and had a bad attitude! ! I told her thank you and she was very polite to her and she ignored me. I don’t recommend it! ! The food is generally not very tasty, mainly because the attitude and expression are really disgusting?I really can’t imagine that such a disgusting person can work in the service industry? ? ? What a joke?, the attitude towards black people is "thank you~" and they just give us a blank look. No wonder there are not many Chinese people here, it's a shame! Will never come again!

The place is quite quaint. Good location. But the best part was the lady inside. She gave great recommendations and was patient. She knew ingredients and helped with dietary restrictions. Plus the food (vermicelli with grilled chicken and strawberry milkshake) were amazing. Highly recommend

The waitress extracted tip from me. I went to the counter to pay the bill by debit and she already added the tips on top of the bill. And top of that her service was poor!!! No tips for her at all next time!!!

Don't go to this pho spot! There's so many other options to choose from and this one is not on the list. The service is terrible. The lady working there had an insane amount of attitude not to mention gave us the wrong item and caused a fuss trying to make it seem like it was our fault that she got the order wrong. Not to mention she ended up charging us for it because she claimed it was our fault. Mind you, the pho was terrible anyways so it wasn't even worth it. Needless to say, save yourself and go somewhere else

I will not be coming here again. A lot of firsts here. First time pho is served with Lemon instead of lime. First time given pho meat with cartilage - and so much of it. Not enough meat comes with pho (ordered the Extra large; ran out of meat with still half of the noodles left in the bowel. Ordered extra meat ($5) to add to the half eaten pho, that's when the meat with cartilage came - extra meat was gone with 1/4 noodles still left in bowel. Broth tasted good at first, but got tired by the end.
Food is not good

I had the seafood curry and it was full of vegetables and minimal seafood. The sauce tasted as if it came out of a can.The sauce did not even complement the coconut juice. I inform the waiter and he informed the owner or manager and she didn't even come by to accept positive discreet criticism. I don't trust getting a new meal in those circumstances due to trust.
Lastly the taste was not good and will never go back to that location.

RUDE. My boyfriend and I ordered some ice coffee for take out. The wait time was average but it was on the longer side. However, when one of the workers delivered the drinks (we were sitting at a table right in front of the cash register counter) she gave us attitude and placed it on our table aggressively. We said thank you and we were just ignored. The ice coffee is about $5 each and our drinks were full of ice and barely a full cup of coffee. The taste is not even that good. It tastes like a cheap Vietnamese ice coffee and I’ve had better for the same price. Never coming back here again. Can’t even deliver ice coffee with kindness, imagine sitting down and having a meal here? Do not recommend this place.
