We were just introduced to this bakery and this is the real deal for French pastries and bread.
Tried an assortment of pastries and the whole family enjoyed.

We have tried many different bakeries across East Toronto and this is our new favourite.

Kid-friendliness: Very inviting for kids. Small storefront but beautiful pastries could be seen by the kids and they each took turns choosing. Welcoming and friendly staff made for a positive experience.

I've visited this place a couple of times and the food is always amazing! There's a good selection of desserts, quiches, croissants and many more. I was finally able to try their cookie croissant and it was amazing the only thing that sucks is that it's only available on the weekends but definitely worth trying

Excellent pies: we bought pumpkin and apple. Finaly to taste pie that is delicious throughout: filling and crust. Our fave pies place now. Will try other goodies.

Gorgeous and delicious authentic French bakery in Scarborough, Ontario. You have that feeling of entering a Paris bakery, the insanely beautiful scents of baked goods when you enter will have you buy everything you view. La Bastille website displays photos of everything you can buy as a walk in or pre-order. Customer for life !!!!

I was so excited to come back to la bastilleafter my first visit, where the pastry I had was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. The pastry I ordered tasted like it was made a couple of days ago; it wasn’t fresh and even had a bit of a gamey aftertaste, which really threw me off. I’m hoping this was just an off day because my first impression of the bakery was great. I’d love to give it another shot, but consistency is key.
