Really enjoyed the durian cake box, as usual it’s very tasty. But seems like the box is smaller than before? We also ordered the holiday Dubai inspired cake log. All my guests agree that there wasn’t enough katafe in the cake and the bitter dark chocolate exterior did not complement the cake at all. This was a complete disappointment.

I visited for the first time and got the Mini Salted Egg Cake and the Pandan Cream Coffee. The staff was very helpful recommending what to try in terms of the cakes. The drink looked very yummy and green, but I did not really taste anything different from regular sweetened whipped cream on a very nice Vietnamese coffee base. I don't actually know what Pandan tastes like so I was expecting some unique flavour but couldn't pick anything out (I just googled it and its supposedly an earthy vanilla, so maybe I expected too much). It was also a shame that half the drink was ice so a decently sized cup turned out to be not that much of a drink. Glad to have come on a Wednesday when there is a BOGO50%off deal so I didn't feel too bad about the cost of the drink in the end. The cake was nice and light, but the could have had a stronger salted egg flavour - it was very mild, even when the cream was tasted on its own. I would like to come again and try the coconut sticky rice since it is being raved about but had decided to pass on this time since my partner and I are not generally coconut fans.

Ordered the viet coffee tiramisu and it was very disappointing. Barely tasted the viet coffee and the cake was dry.

Nice Vietnamese coffe with coconut and salty egg cake is yummy.

Can’ t tell why can it be so bad to customer! I ordered the too good to go and arrive for pick up, absolutely on time and even quite lots of time buffer. But the answer is that they have not enough bun leftover for me (even they actually still have other leftover like cake and yogurt), the only solutions she suggests are gaining 2 buns instead of 4 or refund. I try to deal with her that probably we can get other leftover instead, but still failed.

What the point is it? I come from so far away which I gain like this, just because they want to earn more money so they break the commitment. I m so disappointed and will never ever recommend this shop to anyone.

Ordered a cake for pick up today. Called at 12pm to change the pick up time and the gentlemen reassured me that wouldn’t be an issue. We arrive at 4:30 to pick up the cake, just for the staff to tell us they forgot to add it to their order sheet.

Thanks for leaving my grandma cakeless for her birthday.

Tried the durian mini cake on my first visit, suprisingly very good, it was soft, moist, flavourful, and not overly sweet, will definitely come back to try more products.

La La Bakeshop is a charming bakeshop. The place clean and nicely decorated. They are offering variety of baked goods as well as drinks. For the baked goods, they have croissants, lava buns, rolls and mini cakes. I got the lava buns.
Their buns are good. My personal favorite is the butter garlic cream cheese bun; garlicky taste mixed with some sweetness. The others are very subtly flavored, I was not able to taste the taro as well as the salted egg flavor. Their cream cheese filling is good.
There should also be a note on the packaging or mentioned about the shelf life. Ours had sour taste and smell overnight (bought at 3pm).
The lady who served me should at least smile. She looked not really pleasant and welcoming.

Yummy "dessert buns" and other bakery items. The fillings are creamy and not too sweet. Not cheap for the smaller buns but they do run promos every now and then. I really like the iced coffees. Might be best to call ahead and see what they have left when visiting later in the day.

The durian cake here is one of the best in the city! The use real chunks for durian in it! Very tasty. some of the other stores use mouse or smaller chunks. LA LA is the real deal for durian dessert lovers.
