Durian cake 8/10.
Longan cake 5/10.

Both cakes were not too sweet. The sponge wasn't light and fluffy like others claimed. It was fine but it wasn't wow. I've definitely had better sponge. The longan cake was bland and lacking. The whole longan pieces were nice.
I'd come back to try other flavours but I'm not in a hurry.

I usually shop at their Bloor St (downtown) store but stopped by this location since I was in the area.

Ordered a viet iced coffee, perfect for a hot day! Also got a salted egg roll (luckily they have some available and just needed to wait 5-10mins). The cake was delicious as always, glad to see their quality is consistent!

Là Lá is my go-to place for cakes and will continue to support them! Hope they keep it up!

A cute little Vietnamese bakery. There is a little counter space in front of the window if you do want to enjoy food and drinks at the shop. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffees and they were delicious and strong. I didn't get to try the pastries- though they did look yummy, but next time I will.
