Food was great and my order came out really fast, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience at the cash register wasn’t pleasant. The cashier had a rude attitude while taking my order and it made me feel unwelcome. Customer service is just as important as the food, so I hope this can be improved because the food itself was excellent.
Used to like ordering here, but lately I have noticed a decline in service quality and product size. It's like they are trying to follow KFC failed scheme: reduce portion sizes hoping customers wouldn't notice. But it will catch up with them. I'll try them once more. If the trend continues, I'll stop patronizing Mary Browns.
I was really disappointed with the fried chicken. It was completely drenched in oil—every bite felt heavy and greasy instead of crispy and satisfying. The coating wasn’t light or crunchy at all; it just soaked up oil like a sponge. Even after letting it sit, there was visible oil pooling on the plate, which made it unappetizing. The flavor was overwhelmed by the grease, making it hard to enjoy anything else. Definitely not the quality I was expecting.
