Although we have been patrons for years, today was the first time we decided to sit down and eat lunch. It is a better experience than eating in the car! But foremost is the quality of the food. Of course we cannot expect fresh, unfrozen fish. But I had the cod and my wife had the halibut and the fish remained tender and moist. The batter is not excessive and it appears that the oil is changed regularly because there is no telltale residue or aftertaste of old oil with burnt batter in the fish and chips.

It's a mom and pop shop, it's been around for a very long time. They make 'fish and chips' that blows my mind! The batter on the fish is very light and crisp. Just enough batter to cover the fish to perfection. The fries is amazingly done well, great portion. Try and order of their calamari rings, absolutely delicious and tender, light! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!Parking: There are parking that goes around the strip mall. To the other side. Although beside the strip mall is the construction of the future TTC station which kind of hinder parking beside the restaurant on one side. That's about itKid-friendliness: Is a mom and pop shop with a few tables around. I don't think you'll disturb anyone if you have kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicap parking in front of the store. The entrance to the store is the same level as the sidewalk.
Great mom and pop with reasonable prices, solid service and great food. My son ordered onion rings and the order was the size of his head, and he has a normal sized head.
Cozy, friendly staff and special service.Parking: The plaza is very small and has about 10 parking spots but although there is another plaza besides it which has enough parking so you can park there and walk over.

Great no frills fish & chips in Scarborough with not much oil in the batter and a healthy serving of fish. After Highland Fish & Chips got run down to the ground by the most recent owners, we were searching for another spot to get our fish & chips fix. Glad we could find this one, which just so happens has a shared history with Highland as the original owner owned both the McCowan and Highland Creek locations!

The best and most delicious fish & chips in the GTA!! The service is always so friendly and they are very generous with their portions. I always look forward to eating here :) The lady at the front is also very welcoming and the chef in the back is very good!!
