Either ordering online or going to the restaurant, both my husband and I enjoy their food and service. Personal favourite is their huge crab claws.

A solid congee place in north Scarborough in Alton Tower Circle. We had a group of 8 and we ordered quite a lot of food. The most awesome dish was the jumbo-sized crab claw. As big as an old kid's fist and I am not exaggerating. Good satisfaction as I didn't have it for a long long time. Good Asian congee place. Recommended!

I am always on the lookout for good casual dining in this area. I just found My Kitchen for the first time and I have to give it 5 stars. Everything was great. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I could tell this was one of those classic places that had been around for a long time and that many locals knew about it from word of mouth. The atmosphere and decor were casual and comfortable. I looked at the menu and found all the usual Hong Kong cafe style food I expected. I tried the Fisherman's Congee, some shrimp cheung-fun, and one of their house specialty crab claws. The crab claw turned out to be a normal sized crab claw surrounded by a shrimp ball at least the size of a MLB baseball, with succulent shrimp meat and a crispy shell to die for. Obviously, one of the cooks here used to work at a super high level banquet restaurant and he brought this dish to this restaurant as his specialty. Definitely try this one when you come here. Then I tasted the congee. All I can say is, it's the best in the Toronto area. Better than Congee Queen, better than Congee Wong, Millstone Rice Rolls, and a host of other places that serve congee. All of them make good congee. But this was GREAT congee, with just the right texture, flavor, and loaded with delicious ingredients. The rice-noodle, or cheung-fun, was as good as I've ever tasted anywhere. To be fair, lots of places make great cheung-fun. But this place was as good as any. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. This is the kind of place you want to come back to, over and over again, until you've tasted their entire menu.

Hong Kong style congee. You won’t be disappointed here. After covid, the price has gone up so much.

Good hidden spot for authentic Hong Kong style. Would highly recommend their beef brisket noodles, the handmade squid balls noodles and the jumbo crab claws. The combo offers good value with a drink, a main dish and the crab claw. The Hong Kong milk tea is also very smooth.

If you like 煲仔飯 This is the place to try. The sauce is very good. Sweetness and saltines perfectly balanced. The 臘腸,潤腸,臘鴨髀,臘肉 all very good. Not too salty, perfectly flavor. And now the most important part. The rice... Perfectly cooked, well done crispiness. I tried a few famous one in HK and not as good as this place. Very impressive.Beef stew noodle also very flavorful beef stew. Noodle not bad at all. But 煲仔飯最強!

The food is pretty tasty here and really brings out that HK style. That said, the prices of dishes have been increased and some items aren't really worth it anymore. Service is generally pretty good and so is the atmosphere, but during busy times you may need to wait around 15-20min for seats.

Hong Kong style congee and rice noodle roll restaurant in northeast Scarborough that also serves rice dishes during lunch and dinner hours.I recommend the HK Style Minced Beef Congee with Plain Rice Noodle Roll restaurant with sesame sauce. This is also one of the few places that serve steamed turnip cake. There are breakfast combo sets, lunch sets and afternoon tea sets if you're looking to save a few dollars. Breakfast combos are either congee sets, sandwich sets or macaroni soup sets. Lunch sets are mostly rice dishes that are paired with a hot beverage.Servers are courteous and efficient. Decor is similar to all quick sit-down restaurants.Parking: Lots of parking spaces available through out the day even during lunch and dinner service.
