I bought one and a half pounds of roast pork and brought it home. Then I measured it with a scale and found out it was only one pound, half a pound short!
Always brought bbq from here. There food is well known to the Scarborough community to be delicious, but they are also well known in a negative way to switch with what you asked them to cut and they will put unsellable leftover bbq from day before/bones into your takeaway order when your not watching the butcher. I would definitely come again, as sometimes it's a hit or miss. But I warn others, especially newcomers to always watch the butcher when hes chopping, cuz he got other meat beside his chopping board, which he will do quick switch if your not watching him. They hid the unwanted ribs below the roast pork.
Practically the best value at $6 for a big enough portion to get you filled up. Got the BBQ pork (char Siu?) and the meat was tender and delicious. The place is inside the food court and can be quite crowed at time.
You can find one of the cheapest Chinese BBQ products. Service is fast and considerate staff. Quality is above average, especially with their prices.
Food is good and tasty.
Institution, CANNOT go wrong
This store is a scam. The char siu is advertised at $10 per pound, but they charged me $17.50. When I weighed it at home, it was only 1.3 pounds — they overcharged me by $4.50.

This is, hands down, the worst BBQ pork I've had in Toronto, even after paying extra for pork belly. The meat is incredibly dry and tough, and some of the skin is soggy and tastes like it was left over from the day before. Never going back.

How can you go wrong for $5? Located inside the cafeteria, for just $5 cash you can get a meat, rice, veggies, and a soup.
We sat for about 10-15 minutes to eat right next to the store and it had a constant lineup of people. Being across from Yee Hong, a lot of seniors seemed to be coming to eat here. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me!

So this is truly a hidden gem in Scarborough mainly because of the $5 BBQ meat deal! You have a choice of BBQ pork or roast pork with rice and some green veggies. You also get a soup which is more like a plain broth.
This visit I got BBQ pork and it was delicious as always though it was a bit fatty. The counter service was fast for lunch time and there's always a bit of a line up. I don't really like the broth soup but always love getting the green veggies.
Ambiance was good as usual and got a table nearby. One of the cooks came by with a trolley cart full of BBQ duck and I was in heaven since I love BBQ duck especially the look of the golden crispy skin!
I make a special trip to this place every few months!

I was given a large piece of bone, which was weighed... It was only a few dollars more, but I really didn’t want to buy it again. Isn’t it okay to actually do business? It's quite speechless to have to do small tricks. It's not the first time. I kept buying it, but from time to time I was short of a few pounds, or the meat was not replaced well. I saw a piece of meat cut off, and when I got it home, a big bone appeared. Isn’t that outrageous?
