I heard the wife cakes and egg tarts were good … I ordered 6 egg tarts and 6 wife cakes and when I got them they were piping hot! I had to try one of each in the car. I’ve never had egg tarts or wife cakes that fresh and they were probably the best I’ve ever had.The wife cakes had a mochi like texture and were super flaky.Extremely small shop, pay in cash.
Came here after reading the yelp reviews and they were not wrong. This place does have the best wife cakes (lo por beng). You know it's good when your Taishanese mom approves! There are small chunks of winter melon inside. The outside is super flaky. Their pineapple buns albeit kinda small were also super tasty as well. It's a very small bakery with not a lot of variety but their specialty is their wife cake.

The pastry shell on the egg tart is so flaky and delicate! Very tasty HK style baked goods here. I can't believe that I have not given them a rating until now. I have been going to this place for more than 10 years. The shop is practically a hole in the wall inside an unassuming mini-mall. It's the type of place locals would know about and out-of-towners would easily overlook.
