Best place to get authentic Malaysian food for a good price! The curry puffs and char kway teow are the highlights.
Can take some time so ordering a head in the best option but it’s well worth the wait.

My husband and I came on a Sunday, and this little spot really impressed us. The place is tiny with only a few dine-in seats and a small menu (including some weekend-only items), but everything we tried was delicious. We had the laksa and nasi lemak with chicken curry — both were incredibly flavourful. The laksa came piping hot and stayed hot even 20 minutes later. The broth was rich. The nasi lemak was just as good: you could taste the coconut in the rice, the anchovies were nicely marinated, and the chicken was packed with flavour. No fancy plating, just genuinely great food, and very reasonably priced for the quality.
We also tried a few desserts — pulut panggang, kuih talam, and kuih serimuka — and they were all excellent and definitely worth ordering.
While we were there, we noticed regulars coming in for takeout or even just to pick up desserts, which really says a lot about the place.
The service was another pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the cashier greeted everyone with a smile and thanked each customer as they left. Even though it’s mainly a takeout spot, he brought our food to the table, which I didn’t expect. When I dropped my chopsticks, he noticed right away and prepared a new pair before I even got up to ask.
Overall, amazing food, genuinely warm service, and great value. Highly recommend!

Pulled up for the char kway teow, curry laksa, and an order of the curry puffs. Everything was excellent, the char kway teow was full of wok hai, the curry puffs were freshly fried to order and came piping hot, and the curry laksa has huge, full of chicken, shrimp, and tofu. All the portions were generous and at a great price point. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and courteous. Cash only!

It's worth the wait. Local and authentic Singaporean/Malaysian food. Very affordable.
Great for takeout. Go to the food court in the mall if no space and for larger groups. Lots of wok hay.

Very big food portions. And homely meals. You can feel the love with which the food is prepared in every morsel. The desserts are prepared only on the weekend. We placed an order in advance to pick it up. They are out of this world! Very unique preparations for a non-Malaysian. Already visited twice in a single week. Will go back. Wish thy had another outlet in Toronto.

The wait was quite long for take out, over 30 mins for 4 dishes that usually is just a quick stir fry. Do not recommend eating in, can take out and go to nearby food court for seating. Quite oily, portion size okay. Laksa should have better ingredients, like shrimp. But soup base was okay.

I get most of my cravings for Malaysian food satisfied here:
1. Char kuay teow (char hor fun 😁)
2. Laksa (as close as you can get to Nyonya laksa)
3. Chee cheong fun (Malaysian style)
4. Hokkien fried noodles (best in Toronto. Don’t let others convince you otherwise)
5. Kuih-muih (I always pack a few to alas perut when I tapau for a party)
6. Nasi lemak (big competition between these guys and Gourmet Malaysia down the road)
7. Lots more. Come and try!
They make large orders for parties too.
Make sure you call in advance for any order. They need time to prepare. Brian always returns your calls when you leave a voice message. Let's keep this place going as Toronto always needs great Malaysia hawker food.

You gotta get the Curry Laksa! Curry puffs are also a tasty treat if you want some fried goodness. If you do come, I recommend coming on the weekend when they have the desserts available like the Kuih Serimuka!

We got the wat tan hor and the hokkien mee. Both were okay but nothing special. Definitely authentic but I felt like it was lacking flavour but still worth a try. We enjoyed the charcoal taste on the noodles.

I emailed them yesterday for pick up this afternoon. They communicated with me for some choices and confirmation. I picked up the food right on time. The order process is really smooth. The food is really enjoyable. Char Kway teow(mixed) is my girls favorite, meehoon Siam is my mom’s favorite, curry Laksa(mixed) is my favorite, and tulut panggang is my dad’s favorite. The only complaint is they don’t open enough. Why they don’t open on holiday Monday, why why why

I miss this place so much! I have been in BC for almost three years and none of the laksa I have tried comes close to the flavour and taste you get from here. And the price here is very reasonable. Please open a place in BC.
This is a very good Malaysian restaurant. Their food is so delicious and I keep going back for more. My favourites are the curry laksa and wat tan hor. I love their desserts too! Excellent customer service and very authentic food. Can’t go wrong with that combo! They are very busy.
Giving 1 star for the lack of communication. Went in Thursday and was told that their desserts were only to sell during weekends. We travelled all the way from Richmond Hill only to know they sell dessert on weekends. No visible and clear signs anywhere that tells customers about this. Super inconvenient.

Had supper here the other night. Was delighted at the simplicity of the menu. Smallish menu but they knock it out of the park! Ordered the laksa and really enjoyed it. Not a fan of shrimp so asked to leave out but it’s normally included in the dish. A great price too! The area to eat in the restaurant is quite small but does the job with maybe 8 seats? A ‘hole in the wall’ kind of spot! Will definitely be back to try the other dishes. The gentleman at the cash was extremely helpful, respectful and polite. Great service!
Cash only! Bring cash!

I called in ahead of time and ordered the Char Kway Teow and the Curry Laksa noodle soup. When I arrived the order was ready for pick up. The guy at the counter was super nice and friendly. When I arrived home 30 mins later the food was still hot. Both dishes were super delicious. The portions were huge, you can honestly have 2 meals for each dish. I paid around $25 for both items and it was super worth it. They only accept cash here. Theres a small counter to dine in but very limited space l. I will definitely come back on a weekend to try the desserts.
