松屋 Pine House Cafe - Steeles

The service is very quick for afternoon lunch, this is my second time here and the portions are reasonably big for the price. Would definitely recommend to try once, compared to many other places they do not skimp out on the portions.

Bad food - msg not dissolved in the instant noodles soup.
Poor service - bad attitude on enquiring after waiting for food for 30 mins.

A decent restaurant of providing Hongkong style meals. Price is okay and foods are not bad. One problem there is too noisy, not from the customers but from the servers themselves.
Price is getting higher but foods are still not bad - updated in May 2025

Great food options and taste, okay! Fast service. Full during lunches and some customers are upset. But please be considerate!! We got only two hands!!

We ordered the baked pork chop rice and it came with soup. The soup was tasty and the pork chop rice was delicious and big portion!

Ordered breakfast, food come fast, portion is ok big, not too much salt which is good.

Deserves better than it's current rating on Google. OG hong kong style cafe with reasonable prices considering the portion size is quite generoua. Seems to be connected with Matsuda. Their Russian Bortsch is surprisingly good with just the right amount of sweetness. The broth in their soups offers some flavour depth. Even the Chicken Teriyaki on rice comes with a properly fried crispy seen not normally seen in other HK cafes. Another good addition to Milliken Crossing. Cash only and 25c per takeout container.

The food is good. The staff are friendly. Washroom are clean. The kitchen looks clean. A nice HK style cafe.

The food is not big. They have breakfast special before 11 am.

I ordered the satay beef vermicelli with egg and ham sandwich + cold drink and bill came to $14.68.

Their service is pretty bad… the ladies walked around 3 times before asking if we need a spot. They’re not the nicest either. Pretty mean.

Dropped by for the second time. Got the n baked chicken rice and was it so good. The Russian Borscht was really good. Really enjoyed it.

Small HK cafe. Food is pretty good but variety is LESS when compared with ALL other HK cafe. Cash ONLY..that's the downfall for me...

They have a happy hour/afternoon tea usually between 230pm to 5pm. Good deals that are under $10. Their lunch menu is also reasonable. Not gourmet but there's a lot to enjoy. Portions also generous. Try their French toast bites. Really good.

Good quality, so need to expect long queue time during rush hours. Staff is quick and efficient.
