An outstanding gem! We found Rouge Kitchen while looking for a gluten free restaurant near Rouge National Park. The entire menu can be made gluten free, and they had lots of options to choose from. My wife and I had the grilled cheese, which was a good choice for the cool fall weather outside. There is a great selection of baked treats to choose from as well! The owners were super nice and we loved talking with them while we ate lunch. If I lived in Toronto I would eat here all the time. Thanks for making our anniversary trip a special one!

Personally some of the best comfort food I’ve ever had, not a single thing was ordered that didn't taste good! I’d like to consider myself a bit of a picky eater too and I haven’t had one bad meal from here. The owners and staff are welcoming and extremely friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, a local gem definitely worth checking out!

Rouge Kitchen is a hidden gem that I am so glad to have found. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was one of the most filling sandwiches I have ever had. Paired with the tots it made for the perfect meal and I’m glad I stumbled upon it after getting off the GO train. It’s a small space so takeout is definitely the move, and above all else the customer service was phenomenal. I did not get the name of the lady who helped me pick but she went above and beyond for me, and everyone else who walked in the store while I was waiting. There was a guy who just had his wisdom teeth pulled and he came in for a smoothie that they used to make and took off their menu during Covid. She made him a smoothie anyways since he was asking about a menu item they used to serve, and that to me is above and beyond service. Great see small businesses going the extra mile and I will definitely visit again to try more of their sandwiches!

This is one of my favourite places to eat in the neighborhood. The food is consistently delicious and so flavourful. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Amazing burgers, French fries, quesadillas and they have a great variety of sandwiches.

We stopped in about 10 minutes before the restaurant closed and were warmly greeted by the owner. We had been on a hike at one of the Rouge NP trails and in search of a great meal. That is exactly what we got! A Philly cheesesteak and the turkey club, delicious fresh cut fries and some amazing chocolate chip cookies. As we waited for the food (which was prepared quickly) he explained the restaurant’s commitment to serving consistent, quality food with an effort to keep pricing in check despite rising costs. The menu selection was incredible and I can’t wait to go back to try something else. We don’t live in the area but will gladly make our way back. Highly recommended!

Visited this spot for the first time on Saturday and was very impressed by the food and service. Everything was fresh, made-to-order, great variety of options, good portion sizes, and the gentlemen at the front were friendly and knowledgeable. We just wish it was dine-in (hence the 4 star rating for 'atmosphere'), otherwise the experience was perfect. We went back the next day for more mac n cheese but head's up, they're closed on Sundays!😅

We discovered this gem not long after moving to the area last year. It quickly became a favourite. The food is great. I keep ordering the Rueben because it's SO good but the rest of the family have enjoyed anything else they've tried. It's family owned and they're so pleasant and accommodating, creating such a friendly atmosphere. Love this place.
