I was quietly waiting in the parking lot this morning for a nearby African grocery store to open when I noticed staff from this restaurant giving me prolonged, suspicious looks despite me doing absolutely nothing wrong. Without anyone speaking to me or asking if I needed help, a man seated outside (after talking to a staff member) called the police on me.

Thankfully, the police officer who arrived quickly recognized that there was no issue and did not engage with me further. But the fact that I was reported at all simply for being present was deeply upsetting.

On a day that should’ve been joyful (my graduation), I was unfairly profiled and made to feel criminalized for no reason. I expected more humanity, respect, and basic decency. If your team is uncomfortable with people simply existing near your premises, some serious reflection and staff training are needed.

I hope this business learns to treat people with dignity moving forward.

CK is such an amazing server! She works tirelessly to make sure Sammy's guests are well fed and happy. She's an amazing asset to the restaurant.

The food here is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and the location is solid, though really busy with the construction due north of the plaza.

It's very much worth visiting. Try the fish and chips or the steak!

Great long time neighbourhood restaurant. Greek - Canadian food with all day breakfast. Reasonable prices, great food.

This was honestly the best service I have ever received. Antoinette was amazing!! She was attentive, energetic, and very charming. She also gave us great recommendations for breakfast. I really enjoyed the sausage scrambler and turkey bacon, they were both delicious. Big thanks to her as well as the chef for the great food and incredible service. (I think I overheard someone calling him Raymond). They both deserve a raise!! :)

My friend and I came out here while we were spending the weekend in Toronto, he had some business to run in Scarborough and I thought a breakfast place would be wonderful and this place absolutely was! Great breakfast, great service! Definitely would come back if in the area again.
