This is a great family restaurant no matter what you order the food is great, you never leave hungry the service is good. Our waitress Maria is always pleasant, fast and always has a smile. Truly a good find

Old fashion breakfast that we love. The food & coffee is great and all the servers are friendly ladies. My kind of weekends breakfast restaurant. Portion is pretty big and my teenager kids love big set. I also love sandwiches here.

A local diner style family restaurant in Scarborough! We’re from the area and did not know this place existed. If you’re looking for a good meal for breakfast, or lunch/brunch, check this place out! We came hungry after our workout :)

The place was clean and spacious and you could tell everyone from the servers to the customers were all pretty close knit and customers frequented the restaurant.

We got the Twist combo and another egg and sausage platter and both did not disappoint. They are known for their home fries which we can attest to—don’t skip on those!

Compared to other brunch spots, Sammy’s was fairly priced for what we got and our bill was just under $30! Can’t go wrong with that! We’ll be back again!

Old saying: you only get one chance to make a first impression. Came here first time ever with wife and our 20-year old youngster. VERY impressed with food.
I cooked professionally for 7 years. I know the difference between food which is thrown together and food which is carefully executed.
My wife had the seafood pasta. Served al dente and so hot she almost burned her mouth. She wolfed it down.
Youngster had chicken parmisiana with spaghetti. Excellent. Large portion, excellent sauce, pasta correctly rolled in sauce, al dente, abundant cheese. I had pork souvlaki. Huge portion. Pork tenderloin. Melted in my mouth. Seafood pasta was a 9. Chicken parm an 8.5. Pork souvlaki a 10. Total average score 9.2 out of 10. ANY restaurateur should be proud of that number.
I will absolutely return.
