Good portions for big appetites, tastes good, in general.

Value for money. I find the food a bit too salty and tangy.
From a health perspective, it is not fair.

Amazing shawarma joint with hard-working, friendly, and accommodating staff. The wraps are absolutely delicious and nothing is ever soggy or wet due to the way they prepare the bread/wrap. There are a few tables to eat in, but this is mostly a takeout place due to the size of the store. It does get quite busy during lunch/dinner times, so be patient or visit during an off-peak time. It’s one of our go-to shawarma places whenever we are in the area!

Sumaq is absolutely the best Iraqi Shawarma in the whole GTA. Mahbe even Canada. It tastes just like it would have the streets of Baghdad in Iraq. Spiced to perfection, crispy and juicy chicken and veal. Delicious tanoor bread loaded with coleslaw and garlic sauce. Amazing food. Very good service. Was glad they could speak Arabic, aswell as English for those who would like. Amazing service amazing songs playing and an amazing atmosphere. Just wish they were less busy. Otherwise. Sumaq is number 1. Highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant today, hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. It honestly felt like we were being ignored — and I can’t help but wonder if it was because we looked like we weren’t from the same background as them.
Despite there being very few customers, we stood in front of the staff taking orders, and she didn’t even acknowledge our presence. It took nearly 8-10 minutes before she finally came to take our order — without so much as a greeting.
When our food was supposedly ready, we weren’t even called. We were watching her the whole time, waiting to hear our number. Only when we went to ask did she claim she had called our number twice. But we were standing waiting there the entire time — we heard nothing. When we shared that with her, there was no apology or courtesy, just a dismissive “I called twice”.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable. A basic level of respect and customer service should be expected from any restaurant. Sadly, we didn’t feel welcome here at all. Will never recommend because of the service.

The post that I’m doing is for the taste of the Middle East. I was completely disappointed when I was there over the weekend and I went to go order a Shawarma. I asked the lady that I cannot eat tomatoes. She said everything is premade and I said well, I will wait until you guys make me one she says no everything comes the way it is we cannot change anything. I couldn’t believe that, and I was completely disappointed. I’m allergic to tomatoes so the fact that they couldn’t make me another sandwich was quite disappointing.

Food was so good. The girl on who took my order was so rude and she seemed like she didn’t want to listen to what i want in my wrap. If u don’t like ur job don’t do it. The girl who gave me my order was so nice I wish she took my order my experience would’ve been better.

I am regular customer there but today I am very disappointed. My plate one of the employees put little bit of food feels like giving free food!!!! I paid money why I should not yet the proper quantity of food restaurant usually gives??

So GOOD worth the wait ! The staff is super fast and work well together and the atmosphere is great and the flavor of the shawarma is just Divine like I've never had a shrama like this ever before

The bread was good but the chicken wasn’t cooked enough and the pickles had an unusual taste Overall it wasn’t bad, but not great either just acceptable
