Taste Of Greek Cuisine

This is definitely the best Greek food in Scarborough. It's always freshly cooked with a home made quality and taste. The meat and other ingredients are top notch and the portion sizes exceed what is expected. They beat any other Greek restaurant we have been to. Most local greek restaurants over-charge for what you get with so so quality. The owner truely cares about what they are serving. Our family is always excited and never disappointed when we order Taste Of Greek Cuisine. Update: 22 Dec 2024 We ordered our pre Christmas party food just as we did for last year's parties too. The food is excellent and one of the better Greek restaurants around for food quality, flavor and authenticity; and the portions are quite large for the price. The food at our party was complimented by all of our our guests as was last year's orders as well. This is always my go to place for Greek food. The owners are respectful, they cook amazing food and the orders are ready on time. 10 out of 10 for me 👏👌👍

I ordered large Gyros, what I received was extremely underwhelming. Potatoes undercooked and I am pretty sure they were microwaved.

There has to have been a change of management. No more pork and both the lamb and chicken were not the same good qualtiy. This is so disappointing because it was our favorite Greek for take away:(

Please stay away from here. All the other reviews are fake. This is a real review.

You’re better off going to Mama’s Burgers down the street which has way better food and really good pricing.

There has been a change of ownership and it’s evident even though they have said the original owner is still there. Food has completely switched over and is awful. No more real gyro and you get the frozen processed kind that looks like pieces of leather now.

Just checked my bank history and they’ve changed the business name to Baha Briyani. ?. Why are you still running as Greek store front?!

New owners are now Indian rather than the Greek man who made this place so great. They’ve taken a perfectly authentic Greek spot and ruined it. Also they lied when I asked if it was under new ownership. I don’t see this place sticking around much longer. They charged us nearly 50 dollars for 2 Greek salads and a chicken souvlaki wrap because they gave us one huge salad that looked family size that we didn’t ask for. They did it on purpose to hustle more money out of us. Should have just walked out the second I saw new owners. Won’t be back ever again

Feels like the owners switched from Indian to Greek, but it doesn't really feel like authentic greek. Gyro feels just bought/sliced, certainly not spit cooked. Warm sesame "garlic" hotdog/sausage bun, no pita. Salad, rice and potatoes were okay, but the stack of gyro slices were just chopped twice and stuck on the side. No presentation.Overall the "regular" $22 gyro dinner should really be maybe 17.99 max, and the large at $22 would scale well with the experience. But a regular dinner, bottle of juice and a tip (at lunch no less!) should not be $35 here.

I wouldn't eat here if it was the only source for food on planet earth. The way they treated me their customer service... I wouldn't treat a dog how they treated me.. no respect no regard nothing.. they don't deserve to be in business if this is how they behave

This place looks like it should be on Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares. However I ordered two fried calamari appetizers and they were surprisingly pretty tasty. This restaurant needs a serious deep clean and fresh coat of paint. First impressions are everything and what they are displaying is not a good first impression. I am shocked that the calamari tasted good. I would order it again.

Ordered food from this place today - the calamari plate was so expensive with only few pieces of thinly sliced calamari. Same with the gyro plate. It was a very disappointing experience. Not going to this place again.
