Taste of Heaven Chinese Cuisine

Very hospitable man. My family of 3 decided to come to this hidden gem on a sunday not knowing they were supposed to be closed on sundays. So naturally I had to ask why he opened his store that day. He said whenever he has free time on sundays, he comes and opens his shop :).

Also, some easter egg you might miss: the owner actually used to practice traditional chinese medicine and have incorporated his knowledge into his simple yet energizing home style dishes. He said once you're done eating it, you'll feel energized rather than lethargic.

As per the food itself, Its pretty good and filling. The noodles appear to have been hand made and the broth (add some salt) was fragrant and easy to consume. The beef was extremely tender and the intestine was perfect.

Key take aways: this place isnt usually a sit down place, but if u so desire like my family did? You can! I believe there are about 6 chairs there or perhaps just abit more. But yeah, just dont complain if it isnt all that fancy. But for us? We'd much prefer to eat at places like this than anywhere over the top so we can focus on the food.

Lastly? Be patient and say hi to the man. Running this place single handedly (atleast on that day we visited) for nearly 20 years, a hi hello here and there can go a long way :).

For less than 12$... these are some of the last gems you'll see around that can still fill you up.

It's very bad. Their meat tastes like frozen from the microwave. If you like microwave food, this is the best place to go. If you don't like it, please run away!

It’s a nice place with unique meats and noodles. The soup doesn’t have a strong smell of Chinese herbs as you might imagine; it’s flavorful! And, the Chinese bread/Chinese burgers are sooo good! The owner makes them himself, and as other have shared, he cares about who and what he serves.

Most cost-effective noodle soup in town (as of February 2024). I like all their meat products. This place seems being ran by one gentleman. He recommended the pork feet today instead of pork cheeks because the former was made just before we arrived (while the latter was more expensive). I will definitely recommend to enjoy a bowl of noodle soup at the place and order some takeout as well.I had eaten at this restaurant a few years ago, but I didn't expect it to survive the epidemic. When I came to eat today, the soup noodles still cost nine yuan a bowl, and the taste was the same as before. We originally ordered takeout of pork belly and pork cheek, but the boss recommended freshly cooked pig's feet, so we replaced the pork cheek with this one. It was really delicious. This is the only Chinese restaurant in this plaza, which is a bit hard to find.

Small shop in a tiny plaza run by just one person serving up warm herbal soup noodle. This place seems more of a take out spot but I sat down to eat. The owner made me feel welcomed and made sure to check up on me. He even warned me when I have ordered too much. You can tell he cares for people and not just here to make money. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.

I have been here since high school, and the boss has been working hard for 16 years, and the taste has not changed at all. The beef noodles are super tasty and very affordable. The boss is also very nice, Treasure Hotel, recommended!

The noodles don't really bring out the flavors of the broth, but besides that the food here is good. Nothing that extravagant, but if you want a nice meal at a low cost, this will be a great place for you. The person working there is also really nice too.
