Celebrated a Diamond Anniversary with Family. This was my first visit to this location and the food and service were excellent! Unfortunately couldn't try the signature dessert due to food allergies but greatly enjoyed our crème brulée.

When it came time to pay, the waiter had already added the tip to our bill before handing us the card machine. She did not discuss it with us nor gave us the option to choose the tip amount ourselves. I am not sure if this is a new thing that waiters are allowed to do but we expected that we would be able to decide the tip we wanted to leave based on the service we received. There was no transparency or choice given which left us feeling uncomfortable, as our ability to reward the service based on our experience was taken away.

This is a solid keg location but not the best. During my last two visits we were seated in the far back of the restaurant and then the most recent time in the bar area. Neither seeing location was really great or very comfortable for our groups.

The food is really just okay. I find the attention to detail of the keg has fallen off significantly in the last 5 to 6 years. And the staff were not nearly as attentive or as skilled as he used to be. I assume the keg is cut costs by getting lower quality staff across the board and that's probably the problem.

I’ve eaten at plenty of so‑called fancier and more expensive restaurants than The Keg, but nothing has impressed me the way their prime rib and Billy Miner Pie did. The food was genuinely outstanding, better than places that charge way more, and I was honestly blown away by how good everything tasted. Even the appetizers were on point. What makes it even more impressive is that I didn’t show up with a big appetite. I’d already had a huge late lunch with my family just two hours earlier, so this reaction is coming from someone who was already full and still couldn’t believe how good the food was. The only downside was the wait time, but to be fair, we had a group of eighteen people. Despite that, both the server and the waitress were professional, patient, and handled everything well. I really don’t understand the negative reviews The Keg gets sometimes around from these Toronto foodie influencers saying the Keg isnt great as it is. It really is a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy a solid experience.

Melissa provided exceptional service to my wife and me, from our initial greeting to the conclusion of our dining experience. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and as The Keg is her preferred restaurant, Melissa's warm, enthusiastic, and consistently cheerful demeanor significantly enhanced our celebration. She offered valuable guidance when we were selecting both beverages and food, and we never felt pressured to make a decision. Her performance was outstanding, and we would certainly request to be seated in her section on future visits. We extend our gratitude to Melissa for making my wife's birthday dinner particularly memorable through her excellent customer service.

Amazing experience overall! We were a large party and the food and service were excellent!!! Davis in the bar makes the best beverages ever (especially spicy Caesars) top notch location!!!!

The food was excellent (with some caveats). The burger and chicken were some of the best for this price range. Funnily enough, the steak was the one dish that felt like it wasn't quite worth it - it was quite tough. The mash potatoes were also tasty, but the outsides were dry and I also found a hair in mine. The vegetables were also somewhat oily.

The service was good - it wasn't as attentive as the truly high end places (they didn't check for allergies, for example) but the servers were nice. We went for my Father's birthday and they gave us a free cake slice (it was quite big!) on the house. That was really kind of them. I definitely think we'll come here again.

Food was good. Service was abominable. Our server did not come to take our orders until 30 min after we were seated (no, it was not a full house). By the time our food arrived, we had already been waiting for 1h15m. Our server did not come to refill the waters once. We had to ask him to do so. Each time we had asked him for something, he would chat with the table beside us for a long time before coming to us. Even when we were trying to pay, he disappeared to chat with a coworker for a long while. And he did not come back with a box we asked for. Terrible.

It was a good night at the Keg for dinner. Food and service were on point.

Overall our group enjoyed the table we had. It was a gathering of 8 family members that came together for a send off dinner for two members that were going back home to New Zealand. The server was prompt and provided us with drinks in a timely manner. We got appetizers quickly and drinks were served well. The mains took a while but everything was delicious when it came out. For any group gathering we always enjoy The Keg, they know how to treat you right.

He was clean cut. Perfect waiter.
Very polite & accommodating!
In fact one of my older patriots was very taken in by him.
Personally? I was too.
He had that magnetism drew you in.
All in all awesome experience!
