I love the food there. But the waiting time can be really long - I had to wait for almost 40 mins to get the buns ready.

Regular customers started eating from the food street in Richmond Hil. Although we have moved far away now, our family will buy it when we go there. Today, because the smoked chicken rack is very bitter (oversmoked), I called them and gave them a very bad attitude. I really don’t have to make up a chicken rack! I won't go that far and ask you to pay for a chicken rack. I just want to talk nicely, won't I? !

Delectable northern Chinese steamed buns, dumplings, wraps and simple snacks served out of a Scarborough food court stall.Ordered the large 6 chive dumpling, sesame paste Chinese turnover and steamed vegetable and pork buns for $18. The order was freshly made, so it took over 20 mins, but I think the wait was worth. Food was tasty, service was average due to longer weekend wait time. Food court atmosphere was alright.Vegetarian options: They serve vegetarian buns and dumplings. There are also no meat snacks on the menu.Parking: Plenty of parking free spaces within the plazaWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrances and parking spots.

I love Northern Chinese cuisine so I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I was left a little disappointed. Their prices are low so it would have be a good place for a quick snack. We ordered 2 things, a beef wrap and a crepe. The beef wrap I found really dry. The wrap was very thick in comparsion to the toppings and it could have used more sauce. The crepe on the opposite hand, was wet and soggy. I prefer when the fried dough still crispy inside, and it also could have used a little more sauce. Not sure if it was an off day as I heard some good reviews previously. The food court is a little run down but is nice and bright and has lots of seating. This is also one of two places that is open on a Monday. If I'm ever in the plaza, I would consider trying them again but perhaps order some different dishes.

I had the 猪肉包子 (Pork Meat Bun)牛肉大饼 (Braised Beef Wrap)and 凉皮 (cold wheat noodles). The cold what noodles black vinegar with garlic and the slightest hot oil is probably the best I've had in a very very long time. The Meat Buns are so good as they honestly taste so homemade. They don't taste as savoury as the buns you get from places that mass produce them and they're not suppose too. The bun isn't perfectly fluffy and even has a slight chewiness. However, this is exactly how Tianjin meat buns are. So nostalgic of my time in Northern China ?.Price is very reasonable as they don't skimp on meat. Ironically, the cold noodles (Carb) was what I was missing the most. The only thing that was meh was the braised beef wrap. It's a bit too salty for me. However, I know everyone has their family recipe and I'm use to it being slightly sweeter. However, they do it a bit differently by adding romaine lettuce which adds another layer of crunch and freshness.4.5/5

Frequent here for no-nonsense, authentic home cooking. Haven't found a better dumpling/bao/northern chinese breakfast place yet. Fair prices. The shuijianbao (essentially a bao cooked like a gyoza) is pretty good!

Yuan Yuan has moved again. They are no longer doing stir fried dishes- just their dim sum and quick street eats. You can now find them inside the food court of the plaza on the northwest corner of Sheppard and Glen Watford

Every so often when I crave for northern Chinese home-cooked meal I come here. I've been going there for more than 14 years. I love their tofu pudding soup and green onion egg Crepe W/ Fried Dough, it tastes very authentic and the price is very reasonable. They are family-owned and everyone there is very nice and genuine.

Initially, it was hard to find this spot, it's not at where the map shows. I gave them call, luckily, someone picked uo the call and they are located inside the food court.I ordered the crepe (Jian Bing Bo Cui), and soft tofu soup(Doufu Nao), and the pork baozi. The crepe is yummy, the soup is a little bit salty, the baozi is great comes with soup inside.

Excellent green bean pancake. Smooth batter and crispy dough. Tastes like when I use to get it in Beijing. Cold noodle skin salad was so nicely seasoned. Both items were reasonably priced. Should definitely return to try more of the menu.

I'm always on the look out for Northern Chinese cuisine coz my mom grew up in Northern China. I brought her to 源源 today and she's really excited to see all the familiar dishes on the menu. We ordered 熏肉烧饼,肉夹馍,炸糕,熏鸡架,豆腐脑,凉皮。炸糕 and 熏鸡架 are my mom's favorite. The portion is good and the taste is authentic (at least my mom approved). This food court has only a few restaurants and might look a bit run down. But the seating area is spacious, bright and airy. We feel safe dining in or waiting for takeout here.Parking: Free parking

They have one of the best cold noodle dish I have ever had !! Really declious onion pancake (different from what we normally get from other places). Only complain is that I don’t feel they are very clean. The lady at the front and another lady at the back kept coughing (no mask on) while making food :(

Based on the reviews, we decided to give this place a try.Mediocre food and rude service. The texture of the crepes was good and has potential, but pretty bland otherwise.
