The Scruffy Duck Tap, Grill & Music House

Went with my family for lunch. Goregous place and nice atmosphere but the owner was beyond rude and the service was horrible. Waited over 40 min to have my order taken and when asking for anything the waiter/owner just gave attitude and made excuses. When we walked in there was only 1 other table here so it wasn’t busy at all. The waitress took the 4 other tables orders that walked in after us before coming to our table and complaining how short staffed they are.

The best Clam Chowder on the planet! Soooo good!And although they don't brag about it, the owners are very supportive of those in need, helping with food banks and the isolated elderly during the pandemic.Great people, great food, great ambiance. I wish I could give more than 5 stars

Stopped in here by chance and I'll be returning with the family. Loved the atmosphere and beer selection. Even more impressive was the food. I hade the clam chowder and the Scruffy Duck Signature pasta. So good!

Met with my fellow musicians in Schomberg at the Scruffy Duck because it was a halfway point for us. Best Beer, Wings and Fries I’ve had in a long time with great options for sauces and flavours! Had a great chat with the serving staff, excellent service!

I sat out on the side deck, which has plenty of shade, provided by mature trees and foliage. It looks.down.imto.amravime with a brook running through it. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. You may have e "A" server, but I guarantee that EVERY server will be your server. Nobody is left unattended and every server will ask about the meal, or if you would like anything else, but they are not pushy- just helpful. The food is top quality at a very good price point. I will definitely done here again, the next time I am in Schomberg!!?

I really enjoyed my visit. Not only for the marvelous pub/resto atmosphere, but the adjoining art gallery and old books stores are truly magical to relish.Allow at least 45 extra minutes to savour.Cheers!

The Jam hidden in Schomberg. We went to Schomberg for the festival and found this place by chance. We walked in and we didn't regret it. Food, ambiance, service - everything was absolutely perfect. Smoked duck fig goat cheese salad, Louisiana seafood chowder, smoked duck pasta - that's what we had. ALL was delicious!!!! Thank you for making our dinner unforgettable, we are definitely coming back.

Janet & Roy were just amazing. We had gone there for drinks after a horrible experience down the road at Schomberg pub. We had a great time having drinks that we ended up going back for Canada day dinner & drinks. Janet & Roy are just so friendly & inviting that we will definitely be making regular trips from downtown Toronto to visit the scruffy duck again. This establishment is pretty cool if you like history. I hope they never renovate this place to make it look like every other restaurant. This is a good change from all the other restaurants that all look the same & have way overpriced menus with unfriendly staff. Worth the beautiful back road drive up! Can’t wait to go back again!

Wow! Dropped in here by chance, but loved it. Amazing chowder, soup made by the owner. Salads like we found in Manhattan, but at local prices (try the duck!). And if bar food is your thing, Tex-Mex and local beers look great.

Wow! What a great lunch! The chowder I had was amazing and the Mediterranean salad was fresh and tasty. I would include pics but we demolished our lunch before I thought of that. I would come back in a heartbeat!!

Had an amazing lunch in the back section near the river. The tomato soup special was amazing. Chicken sandwich was also tasty and I couldn't finish it. Highly recommend this place.

Bone chips from chicken wings, stale fries, expensive nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Chicken was bad. Liked the carrots! Staff was alright! Nice locally made art! Insulation shown Up on the the ceiling!

Lovely place in Schomberg. We went early in the afternoon. Beer was nice & cold. Great atmosphere. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely would come here again.

I did dine in. Customers seem to be comfortable loyal crowd. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Thank you for the kind offers for locals. Very much appreciated.
