Took my daughter (7) to the Harry Potter themed High Tea. We loved the whole experience- very charming and gracious thoughtful service. You don’t normally encounter this kind of service so it really stood out to me. I’m recommending this to all my Tea Snob friends they really know their stuff. I particularly loved my tea sandwiches which were super fresh with very finely sliced cucumber and tomato. My daughter loved the chocolate frog and the sorting hat cupcakes ( which incredibly were correct in choosing our Hogwarts House colours)
Very thoughtful and considered tea pairings and choices. Lots of themed activities for young ones and I noticed older /adult )) Potter fans had foiled chocolate Snitchs

A fun experience for some girl time. Tons of tea options. Super friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Would recommend making a reservation versus walk-in. Was very surprised for a high tea environment that there were numerous children 5 years and younger. Definitely offers a different atmosphere than what we were expecting. Scones were amazing and we also really enjoyed the small quiche served with the high tea. Parking is limited.

Vegetarian options: There was no meat dishes at high tea.

Parking: Parking spots to the right of the restaurant is limited.

I had the pleasure of visiting Harry Ten Shilling, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, Mckayla made us feel right at home. She was incredibly attentive, always checking in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. Her exceptional service really made the experience stand out.

The atmosphere at Harry Ten Shilling is perfect for a relaxed yet memorable time. Whether you’re in the area or just looking for a great spot for a drive, this place should definitely be on your list. Highly recommend it!

Such a great atmosphere, girly and calm. We went on dolly parton theme day and there was charm bracelet making! So much fun!
The tea was so fresh and flavourful and the scones were INCREDIBLE.
the savory foods were classic and the soup addition was a nice touch. The banana pudding will hopefully become a permanent item. Everything was great, and a great price for a fun daytime outing.
We will be back soon!

We have been to Harry Ten Schilling for some of their themed afternoon teas and each time has been fantastic! We had the pleasure of enjoying the Halloween afternoon tea today and the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! Will definitely be back!

This was my first afternoon tea experience! We did the Halloween themed tea, the service was amazing our waitress was super friendly and helpful, the tea room is beautiful and lots of natural lighting. I tried the cream earl grey I highly recommend, the food was so good, my favorite was the soup and cucumber sandwiches, the sweets were really good especially the creme brulee, we will be back for sure! They also had a charm bracelet bar set up on our visit which we loved!

From the moment you set foot at Harry Ten Shilling, you are transported in time and leave the current day and age far behind you. From the music, to the decor, to the name of the town this place is everything an afternoon tea establishment should be. The chef obviously has a passion for creating authentic English and French desserts. Ladies and gentlemen; when you can hear a madeleine bounce back into shape (the best I have tried) after taking a bite you know you are in the perfect place for afternoon tea. One of Southern Ontario's best kept secrets in my opinion. Thank you for a very memorable experience, my daughter was beyond impressed with her birthday tea.

Such a cute space and amazing layout for this tea shop. They have a great gift shop at the front with tons of local vendors where you can get local pottery, art, jam or honey among other things. They also have a gorgeous tea wall where you can take home some what you try and sample. We had a super cute light lunch with homemade scones and tea, and the tea selection was awesome. I loved this place, it was very cozy and cutesy :) it is a must go to place if you're visiting Stratford!
