I was in for a rushed meal and my service was great and I was able to get to my next assignment on time.

The Crossing Pub: as of August 2024, they have no liquor licence. But I had a non-alc beer and the staff was very friendly.

Outhouses were well maintained. The beach was great. Clean and fun.

This is a review of the restaurant only, we didn’t stay at the hotel.

They call themselves a pub yet has no liquor license… go figure

my friend and i stayed there in july and we were very disappointed. the room was dirty and we could not sleep in the bed because there were stains in the sheets, and advertising as a pub but there was no alcohol sold. just very dissapointing. we would not recommend!!!

No reception desk.
No indication of where to go or who to speak with upon arrival. Just the dark dining room.

Check-in was not very informative or welcoming.

A minor issue with my credit card that eventually got cleared up very easily. But they changed the entry code on my door without attempting to call me first.

No room cleaning of any kind. Garbage never emptied, recyclables not removed.

One serving of coffee grounds that got used almost immediately and never got replenished. (4 days)

Air conditioning needs improvement. Overall, the room was adequate.

No concern about my experience when checking out eg. "How was your stay?"

In summary, not worth the price.
I will not be returning.

Noteworthy details: Customer service was lacking

I did not stay in the Inn, I was there for dinner. I ordered liver and onions, bacon, mashed potatoes and gravy ‘To Go”, and it was perfect. The man who was running the place was very friendly and wonderful to talk to.

The rooms are very clean and cozy with an excellent view. However, the bathroom was freezing and the room had no hot water. The coffee maker was not cleaned out after the last user so I was hesitant to use it. Because of work, I was unable to check in till 8 PM and everything was closed at this point, including the restaurant/ pub. Also, everything else in the town closes at 8 PM, including gas stations and convenience stores

I do not recommend the restaurant. Service is extremely slow. Restaurant was not even half full, and we waited over an hour and a half for our meal. Very disappointed with the service.
