Took a break from fishing to eat dinner. Convenient boat access. You get the whole walleye, fantastic. Both sides, boneless fillets and the most impressive lake views. Perched on top of the narrows, plenty of windows inside, and two patios outside means everyone gets the vista
We stopped here for drinks before heading down the road to the Totem Lodge for dinner. Sitting on the patio during this Covid -19 situation was what we wanted and we were easily accommodated. We were slightly surprised by the lack of masks on patrons coming in and going out, however we were asked our names and addresses for tracking purposes. Ventured into "The Snakepit" and above, across the bridge & took the plunge. Forgot up from down, but thankfully ended up not running aground. All in a great Canada Day at The Shaft, great libations & buds.
