Went in to ear with 7 people. 2 were children 1 was senior. Were told that 20% would be added to bill automaticly..our bill would have come to an easy $250. Dollars. That's over a $50 tip. One person was paying. They said all at table gave tip. Kids don't pay or tip. What is wrong with that. They lost a 250 dollar sale. I would had gave a great tip had I not been demanded. Sorry won't be back.

Atmosphere was good but service was ok, didn’t ask things we found out later that could have been an option on menu, And food was food but missing some things. Tuna wasn’t cut and no mayonnaise, very dry. Burgers were ok Salad ok. It was hard to rationalize the bill we paid which was unfortunate.

We ordered fish and chips. Fish was by far the best we had on the island. Server was quick and brought the items as soon as they became ready. Fish was great, no smells. Cashier was very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend fish and chips here.

Walked in and the hostess told me where to sit but never told the server I was there so after 10 minutes she finally found me. She took my order and after 45 minutes I just left with no food ever showing up. I ordered just poutine and I was one of 2 customers in the restaurant.

Pierside Restaurant is my most favourite restaurant on the Island. I have been coming here every summer since 2021. They have not once disappointed. Pierside is my absolute Go-To for Fish 'n Chips.
