Saucy Apple Reviews
Neat little spot with a bakery and garden centre attached. Cute, very large working dogs on site. French toast was a highlight. They have smaller and larger plates depending if you are a small or large breakfast person. Order at the counter and they will bring you your food. Ask for the jam!
So good!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an amazing breakfast spot. My sister and I got the Aztec wrap which is a must have if you go. Bacon, chicken, avocado, etc. Cinnamon roll was also good. Everything tasted homemade and fresh.
Open air patio dining. Huge portions of awesome food. Fresh baked breads used for sandwich’s and toast. Amazing fresh ingredients. Fast friendly service. Saucy Apple is a hidden gem nestled in the remote back roads of Manitoulin Island. This charming diner, located inside JD'S Garden Centre, offers exceptional food, service, and ambiance. Enjoy a delicious breakfast or brunch on the sunny patio or in the cozy greenhouse room, surrounded by lush greenery. Savor their mouth-watering dishes, including eggs, potatoes, bacon, homemade bread, muffins, and fruit bowls. Don't miss their freshly baked goods, such as sourdough bread, buns, and cinnamon rolls, as well as their homemade canned goods like pickles and spaghetti sauce. This kid-friendly spot is a must-visit, with toys and coloring activities to keep little ones entertained. The atmosphere and service were great, and the food is incredible with big portions and very reasonable prices. It could easily be a destination spot on its own, a really beautiful unique location. They have lots of other homemade goods, btw.
