Famous... But not for good things. Very over battered small bits of fish. And the toilets were disgusting. If I had used the bathroom before ordering I would have walked out. And $70 for 2 fish and chips, a beer and a Pepsi!! Not worth it.

They were having karaoke night and the place was rocking! A friendly crowd and responsive bar service, what more could you ask for? And no, I won't be posting any karaoke photos :)

Duffy’s was once a great spot for dining and entertainment It now has declined into a very poor establishment Slow service, marginally clean, unprofessional staff. Just a real shame
Got there at 5:15 on Sunday, August 13, and the restaurant was only half full. We waited for 15 minutes only to be told they aren’t taking anymore tables. The sign says they are open till 8:00. We are a polite, mature couple. Didn’t need to be made to feel like we aren’t deserving. Won’t go back, what a sour reminder of what Southampton locals are really all about.

Four of us went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was quiet, not a lot of customers. After a 30 minute wait we asked about our order. Told it was over looked. Server couldn't be bothered to tell us. Waited 45 minutes for our food. No management in sight. Fish and chips was delicious as was the garden salad.

Buyer beware! The prices on the website and google are not accurate and very misleading. It feels like this has not been updated intentionally. The fish n’ chips dinner I ordered expecting to pay $17 was actually $23 and the extra piece of fish was $15 instead of $5 as listed. When we questioned this the owner could not have cared less. On top of that the food was blah, mushy tasteless fish, over saturated with grease. Frozen fries that vinegar and ketchup couldn’t save. Our family dinner for 5 ended up costing us an unexpected $200.Never again Duffy’s!

Got there at 5:15 and waited to be seated only to be told they weren’t taking anymore customers. How rude. Their sign says open till 8 pm - so clearly they don’t want the business are ok to violate shingle laws of Ontario and once again prove how awful Southampton is to visitors

Fish and chips were limp with no hint of crispness in the batter. Fries appeared to be frozen and then deep fried and again, limp.Front door was wide open and the result was a hot dining room with an abundance of flies to swat and and wave away. Not pleasant at all.The staff were young and friendly but inexperienced . We had to ask for all the basics including the condiments , cutlery which was not supplied even after the meal was served. We had to go and ask for it. And the bill was not supplied until we got up and asked for it as well.Not impressed, sadly.
