“Have had to lower my opinion. Was there for breakfast today and ordered my usual Eggs Benedict. Absolutely disappointed in the food and the service. Passed off brown gravy as hollandais sauce. Insisted that the sauce was made fresh this morning, that it’s the same as always, and that Emily, our server tasted it and it’s delicious. The sauce was not prepared as usual, it was brown, not bright yellow, it had no lemon flavour. It was disgusting. Emily explained to me that she served 50 orders of Eggs Benedict this morning and no one but me complained. Really. Unfortunately Emily thought so little of me, a regular patron for the past 3 years, she couldn’t be bothered to even try to make things right. Kept insisting that the food was perfect. Emily could have offered me something else or a reduction of the bill. Nope! Thanks a lot. A very dissatisfied client.”

“We recently tried this bakery for the first time. We bought the sourdough bread and a coconut cream pie. Both were AMAZING! The bread was so incredibly light, and when it's toasted, it has a delicate crunch. This is how bread is supposed to taste. I can no longer eat store-bought bread - seriously. I'm not much of a pie person, but after having had a slice of the coconut cream pie, I am now addicted. It has the perfect balance of flavour and sweetness. The fresh whipped cream is the perfect compliment to this dessert. I will definitely be back for more.”

“Understanding the staffing issues concerning the majority of restaurants, we surpassed our tolerance of patience. We ordered the specials of the day, which, after an hour still had not been served. To add insult to injury, the couple seated beside us, who arrived a half hour after us, received their meal, we still did not have ours. Whether it was server error or kitchen error, we will not be returning, no apologies given to us and no retribution, we left after paying for our beverages, at least we were hydrated. It saddens me that a beautiful area such as this has such little care for the patrons which are necessary to keep these businesses afloat.”

“Out of towner here. Stopped at this location for breakfast. The staff were all smiles and friendly, the hash browns were warm and the coffee was hot. Just the way I like it. This place really has the small town vibe where everyone seems to know everyone else and the food/drinks remain hot and fresh. Thanks guys, you made my morning!!! Stark contrast in comparison to downtown Toronto where staff often dont even smile!Vegetarian options: Hash browns, egg bagels, most if not all the donuts and timbits.Parking: Dedicated free parking lot. Ample space to park.Wheelchair accessibility: Pavement-free disabled parking and ramp right next to the parking. There are at least three disabled parking spots, clearly demarcated.”

“Unbelievable!!! Best Chinese food I’ve had in years!! Well worth the 40 min drive for me to go here. Today was my first time eating here as I’ve heard so many good things about it. Plenty of food, and amazing flavour. Everything don’t taste the same as I find in a lot of Chinese restaurants. It’s only for take out, no eating in which is perfect for us with having a little dog with us. I’d highly recommend eating here and looking forward to my birthday next week as this is now my new favourite place. ?.”

“I have never been in here until the past few weeks and have now been in twice! It’s not enough that the pastries are delicious. But the first time I went in I was actually not in the best mood just saw the sign that they were open and decided to try it out. dealing with such a Pun-ny guy brightened my day enough to bring me back and bring the whole family along. My family chose not to go here for awhile because we didn’t like guacamole and because the restaurant was called Guac we assumed it was all things guacamole (you only get guacamole if you requested it). I am so happy we gave it a chance, it is soo good, soo filling and the staff is sooo friendly, we have decided to make it our weekly spot. Thank you so much for everything ❤️”

She is nervous about restaurants that don't understand cross contamination, but says it made her feel great when the staff asked if she wanted her food put in a separate bag from the other sandwiches our group bought. “The folks putting these together are like artists. They are attractive and Oh so yummy! We usually get the larger variety pack to share. There is never enough pickled ginger so we have a jar at home and always grab extra soya sauce with the chop sticks at the counter.”
