Accepting the wait is long to get your food. We went for a late breakfast & the server was apologetic for the wait to be seated. He kept our coffee topped up whilst waiting for our food. We ordered blueberry pancakes (x3) & sausage links (×4) & a side of buttermilk pancakes (x2) with fresh fruit bowl. The portions are American size enormous. The pancakes were fluffy & light. We couldn't finish them & had a doggy bag. There is a bakery as well with single portion treats, jams, and frozen home-cooked soups, entrees & pies. I bought the chicken & rice soup & meat lasagne. Overall, it's worth a visit. Just be aware that if you are in a hurry, not a place to eat. Gluten-free options are available.

Beware that they bump orders. We were seated right away and had our order taken quickly. 45 minutes later and still no food. In the meantime, a couple at another table left 20 minutes after we were there. The table was cleaned and a gentleman was seated. He ordered and had his sandwich brought to him quickly. A couple also came after us and received their order before ours. When I asked about our meal I was told by 2 employees that their orders were simple meals and that our meals were more complicated. We had ordered a Reuben sandwich and 2 omelettes. They said the omelettes take a long time to make because everything has to be cooked evenly. Seriously? I have ordered omelettes many time with no time issue. Of note, only 3 orders for other tables were brought out before ours while we waited. All but one couple had already left by the time our food arrived. There is clearly a problem in the kitchen if omelettes pose a challenge. After all that, my omelette was dry and overcooked, my bacon was overcooked and hard to bite and the campfire potatoes had blackened edges with the onions completely burned black.

The Spanish omelette was possibly the best I've ever had, and as a guy who typically doesn't like potatoes for breakfast, the campfire potatoes were amazing! The only down side is that we were on a road trip and I have no idea when we'll make it back!

I went here with my son & family members for breakfast since there are not many options in Sauble Beach. Atmosphere is very homey, welcoming & friendly. I am not from this area, but there are a lot of senior locals here who meets up to eat. Food is great here, portion is great & quality is great. We ordered the kid's pancakes, kid's omelet with cheese & home fries, campfire skillet w/ sausage, beans, eggs & cheese. Also, pricing is reasonable. Will come back here again if I am in the neighborhood.

Great eats! Had a craving for a good breakfast - and Just Like Mom's hit the spot! Great quality, good quantity, very pleasant staff with good service - all at a very reasonable price.
They are filling some staff gaps, help wanted, at the moment, and the service time will only get better (otherwise, it would have been a 5/5 for service) - still more than worth the 30 minute drive.

Just Like Mom's in Southampton is seriously good! The staff there are friendly and really make you feel at home. And let's talk about the food - it's made well, fresh and they don't cut corners! Seriously top-notch stuff that'll have your taste buds doing a happy dance.
But what really seals the deal for me is the cozy vibe of the place. It's like stepping into your favorite aunt's kitchen - warm, inviting, and full of good vibes. And oh, don't even get me started on their salsa; it's hands down one of my favorites!
Oh, and did I mention they do take-away meals? It's a total game-changer for those lazy nights when you want something tasty but can't be bothered to cook.
In a nutshell, Just Like Mom's is a local gem that you absolutely need to check out. Trust me, you won't regret it!
