At times the quality is superb, when it is we love the Bruce Potatoes, Danishes, and Pies. The Cookies are always good. Sometimes though it's not superb, but just good. Vibe is always bustling and friendly.

Payment/cash register issues caused a little wait but not bad. They had it going within 10 min. I ended up using cash. Pastries where great tho.

I was recommended to go here even if it meant out of my way, so I did. The line was long so it seemed like it would be a great bakery. While I was at the back of the line, the girl with glasses kept asking me over and over what I want, yet the display case was at the front of the line right beside the cashier. I said, after being rudely asked 3 times, that I need to wait to see what they sold. Finally on the third time, I just said Okay what danishes do you have? and she said the kinds and I picked. Once I finally got to the cashier, I paid a lot for what turned out not to be a danish, but a hollow square of slightly burnt pastry almost like a turnover. There was no filling either, just a slight hint of a red colour stripe down the seam area. A danish is round with filling on top, so I wouldn't have bought it if I could have seen it.

My family has been coming here for years for pastries, and they’re Mennonites, so you know the bar is high for baked goods.
The honey croissants are my favourite sweet treats available. We come to the bakery nearly every day of operation while we’re up here. We have never waited longer than 20 minutes for service, which is hardly something you can complain about, given that all the people in line had the exact idea that you did. Service isn’t necessarily “country warm,” but they are running an extremely busy bakery and putting out fresh items at a very fast rate - if they took the time to chat with every person, you’d complain further about the time spent in line. Go to Toronto and compare the price of a croissant if you think this place is overpriced - better yet, remind yourself how much a stick of butter costs at the supermarket.

Cute, little bakery with delicious cookies and loafs. They also have apple fritters, break and buns. Recommend visiting while in the area.

A line is always a good sign. I tried several breads and treats and they were amazing. The butter tarts were so flaky. I can't recommend this place enough. Will for sure stop by any time I'm visiting.

Very delicious Southampton bakery owned by a Swiss family that operates it for half a year and then returns to Switzerland for the other half of the year. It is open during the spring summer and early fall and close is during the winter months. They make a variety of bread, sweets, cakes, butter, tarts, and some savoury baked goods. I highly recommend them.
