I had to send an employee to Southampton to check in a shipment of hardware for a new retirement home we are building there, my employee is a little young so I phoned ahead to make sure they had availability the person I spoke to told me they were not too busy so I told my employee to stay there. He had a 3 hour drive so he arrived a little early and decided to book the room just after 9 am because he was waiting for the delivery to arrive just to be safe he booked the room for 2 nights just to be safe as he had 18 skids of hardware to check in. Little did he know he would finish by 11 am the second day. He went back to the hotel room to gather his things and have a quick shower he went to the front desk to check out and was 1 hour 40 minutes beyond the checkout time. The front desk told him he would have to pay for the full day as there would be no refund. What kind of courtesy is this? If a hotel chain could treat a customer for being 1hr and 40 minutes over there checkout time and charge them a full day I could only imagine what else they would do to customers. I suggest that you find any other place to stay and not the Quality Inn as they do not put the customer first and in this case I give them a zero rating.
Not sure why you would say that we checked in at 6am and left at 2pm as the receipt clearly states that check in was after 9 and check out was before 1pm but hey thanks for clarifying why you should not stay at your establishment

My wife and I stayed for a few days on a business trip, it was perfect. Quiet and clean, the staff was kind and the breakfast was very good. I loved the waffle maker.

What a lovely little hotel, rooms were very spacious, high ceilings. The rooms have decent sized refrigerators and a small microwave.
Great price and well kept.
The breakfast was great, sausage, egg, breakfast sandwich, fresh waffles and more.

The staff is excellent and extremely helpful they are my preference for staying in the area always. Close to beach but not rowdy or noisy location next to a great restaurant and food land. These keep u coming bk but it the staff that makes the stay....great manager wonderful stay I look forward to seeing them again soon!

The entrance going in is sharp, you will most likely miss it the first time. Other than that I enjoyed my stay! Beds comfortable, big and breakfast was great!

The carpets made it look unclean and the door to the room was difficult for someone with limited mobility to open. Otherwise, it was very, very clean.

I'm a senior citizen, I booked my room on line, once I had arrived and realized that I had made a error, by booking an extra night I didn't need. There customer service for me was none existent, once they have your money, your not getting any type of refund or any compensation.
Throughout my communications there wasn't any name calling or vulgar language used.
The next day the south Hampton Police contacted me to speak about my comments, saying " go ahead and keep my money, I'll write about it in my on line post about your lack of customer service, and your greed, to take financial advantage of a senior citizen "
Lol, I just read your reply, you don't remember me, how many times have you called the police on your customers, hahaha.
You've got a lot to learn about how customer service in Canada is expected, I'm a senior now, I cannot believe the treatment I received from you and your staff.
Unbelievable, good luck to you, I'll never book with any quality inn again.

Lower room dirty and damaged. Bathroom gross broken counter top and towel bar broken ,which was a safety concern because it was just hanging out. Yellow pee like stains on the bathroom floor. Checked the white sheets and beds there was yellow stains on both. Show curtain white had stains. The window curtains look like they never wash them in years. Table legs were broken which made the table wobble. They have an exercise room with working equipment but put it out of order because the owner is to cheap to pay liability insurance clerk said. Free breakfast room is small and crowded and gets to hot.it takes 8 minutes to wait to make waffles and there a long line to get food and drinks. They should extend the breakfast time and not have a small area with 5 didn't machines heat one area. There eggs are gross. Oh yeah they ran the news channel on the TV and the whole time trying to eat we heard about crimes of murders. Like do better 🙄. By far Worst Hotel.
Noteworthy details: Ask for tub plug as they keep them at the front desk. Don't drink out of the coffee machine they don't clean them proper.take pictures before and after because they could blame you for things that are already broken in the room.

My stay wasn't great was very disappointed. place had no pool nor exercise area. The room was dirty and damaged. Stains and food on sheets towels blankets curtains ect. Damages that were unsafe. took a couple pictures to show how gross it was

You will not be disappointed. Very comfortable beds, accommodating welcoming staff. Breakfast in a.m, included. There is nothing negative to say. Well run, exceptionally clean and up to snuff in every way. Have been going there for 4 years and they have remained unchanged.

I booked my room with them and when we reached, the receptionist mentioned that she gave the rooms to all walkin, which doesn't make any sense.
After talking to her manager, she mentioned that she will give us a suite but need to pay extra which didnt make any sense either as it was their fault. We had no choice at this point as it was late and stayed calm.
The staff was rude and to argued on how they gave the rooms to walkins even after prior bookings, secondly she gave us the room that had a weird smell. It felt like it was damp, and we got rashes after staying in the room.
And that's not it, so we left next day thinking that deposit would eventually come back as it was advised by receptionist. However it's been 4 days and when we called them to confirm, they mentioned that we have to drive back in order to get the money back.
Plus the manager called us and started yelling that why we gave them bad ratings.
This is obnoxious, I don't understand how these people think that they would be able to receive a better rating after all of this.
Plus they want us to visit the hotel back in order to get our deposit back is like 4 hours drive.
Is this how to treat your customers?
