We ordered the rib special it was fantastic. Enjoyed it greatly. Just had half a rack and even that was too much food for one sitting. Looking forward to to the left overs tonight

Walker House, Southampton is an excellent choice for date night or an evening with friends. The whitefish never fails to satisfy and the crème brûlée is delicious!

I took a friend from out of town there to celebrate her birthday she was really surprised when we were seated that there was a birthday card waiting for her on the table from the staff. Our meals were delicious as usual and did not disappoint. As cottages The Walker House is our “go to” restaurant when ever we decide to go out to eat. I always recommend this restaurant to people we know.

We made a special trip to visit from out of town Saturday to dine with friends on your patio. We visited on Saturday (a beautiful sunny day) and were told by the hostess it was closed despite several other patrons enjoying it. Hostess was annoyed by us not having a reservation at 3:15 in the afternoon despite the restaurant not being very busy. There were many tables available and she sat us at a tall table against a post in the middle of the higher traffic area.She was visibly irritated to have to seat our party of 4. We have always enjoyed making the trip from home (1.5hr drive) to visit, but she made us feel very unwelcome and that we inconvenienced her day. We were really disappointed that on a beautiful hot day, you wouldn’t let patrons sit on the patio with the new fall mums. That was the draw for us to visit you over other places in the area. Not sure I feel the same visiting again after the experience yesterday. The food was good, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive but the welcoming vibe was deffinatley missing.

It was our first visit to the Walker House, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. We made reservations as we had evening plans and needed to be somewhere after dinner. However, our meals never arrived - even after waiting an hour. We ended up having to cancel our food and leave. What made it worse was watching other tables, who arrived after us, receive and finish the very same meals we had ordered while we were still waiting. Very disappointing experience.

We always enjoy dining at the Walker House. The food is excellent and the staff are always friendly and competent.
Dinner and service was excellent as usual. Great prime rib and Steal and salad. Love the garlic bread with cheese. Today was special because we had live music that played a lot of favourites. Lots of fun hearing the familiar songs. Played very well by the way. Nice touch by Walker house. From the greeters to the servers to Jake floating around making sure everyone was happy. We always enjoy our Friday dinners at the walker house.
