Staff and food was great. Walker House never disappoints. Bernadette, our server, was so friendly and helped with menu suggestions. She's a wonderful asset to your establishment.

We had a reservation for a Friday night and it was required. We were given a table immediately but there was a lineup waiting for tables. The atmosphere was casual. The menu was not overwhelming but had very common dishes. The specials menu was more diverse and could be considered fine dining. The server was pleasant and attentive. Our dinner we shared an app, drinks, mains and shared a desert the total was $110 including a tip. This was a great meal at a great price and with great service. Next time I am in town I will be back.

When reserved using open table we were seated on the bar side. Unfortunately the bar side is extremely loud and we were not able to converse well with our friends. The waitresses were both very friendly and nice. The food was the worst we have ever had at the Walker House not sure what has changed. 18% minimum tip option is ridiculous

The Walker House is our ‘go to' restaurant. There's always a good selection for all tastes and the specials offer a wide variety as well. The ribs were the best! Everyone enjoyed their meals - wings and poutine, red curry beef with basmati rice, ravioli with blush sauce. We highly recommend the Walker House!

The roast beef on the hot roast beef tasted like it had been sliced for a day or two... not fresh at all. Everything else was perfect! Especially liked the choice of veggies, unique and tasty.

Waitress and servers were friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere at the Walker House is warm and inviting. A couple of us at the table decided to try the veggie burger for a change, but were disappointed with the veggie patty itself; very grainy and no flavour; reminded us of veggie burgers that came out many years ago. Improvement required before it is tried again.

Best Cesar salad I've ever had!!! Crab cakes were great and huge, yum!! Waitress was wonderful and gave us a location recommendation to see the gorgeous sunset, as we are “out of town guests” and my first time to Port Elgin and Southampton. Will definitely highly recommend The Walker House to everyone! Thank you!!

Walker House NEVER disappoints!! We celebrated a 60th birthday and from the time we arrived until we left everything was outstanding!!! Great food, great customer service and the birthday card on the table was a wonderful added touch!! Our waitress was fabulous and very attentive! Great job Walker House!! We will definitely return!!

Sat evening was very busy at Walker House! Our servers were attentive and our meals were excellent. It is a happy place! We were a party of 9 and our meal orders all arrived at the same time. They call is ‘swarm service'. Excellent.

The meal flavour was quite good, but the food could have been warmer. Normally when we have been at the Walkerhouse the plates are warm if not hot. That did not happen on this visit. That may have caused the food to cool down. We did not complain, that is not normally our nature.

Dining at the Walker House is always a pleasure in this lovely old building. As a family we always have a good dining experience here with excellent service and good food. However, the last few times we have noticed that the menu seems to be gravitating away from chef inspired foods and more toward pub grub. Do hope that it returns to the former.

Everyone enjoyed their food. We had garden salad with tofu, beef dip dinner, and I had the salmon dinner. I must admit I was a little taken back with the price of the salmon $30 plus an upgrade to Cesar side salad at $6 - so that's $36 for the plate which was a bit excessive I thought. Nevertheless, it was always a nice evening at the Walker.

Walker House is our local. We go there because we are welcomed like family. We bring friends and visitors because we know we'll get consistently great food, fabulous choices for specials, and attentive, friendly service. You can never go wrong choosing Walker House, no matter the season or occasion.

The ‘special' was great. Too much food. Did a take home Good flavour. Would be nice to have a senior size or half order option on the specials. Waitress seemed new but she will be more comfortable in time, I'm sure. She was very accommodating though.

We come here a lot as we live in town. My guest and I both had the Chicken Alfredo. It is not a whole chicken breast (shrinkflation?). The breast is cut in half horizontally (you get one half) and then it's cut in two. The chicken is so thin that when grilled, it becomes dry, hard, and tasteless. Very short on red onions and mushrooms. The pasta was well cooked but the Alfredo sauce needed a lot more seasoning (salt). Given a $25 price tag for the Alfredo, I expected juicy slices of a full breast. Without any prompting, my guest came up with the exact same review. The crab cakes were very nice; the staff pleasant.
