We had an amazing dining experience with my family for both my parents birthdays and retirement celebration.
The service was top notch and the food was worth every penny. The staff worked hard to make our experience memorable.
The seafood was amazingly fresh and the delicious steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth.
This is where you go to make memories and enjoy the finer things in life. The staff take time to chat and get to know you.
There is a reason why this place has been open for decades. The Blue Mermaid will not disappoint.
If you are looking for an authentic fine dining experience, with a robust history this place is for you.

Everything about this place was amazing and the customer service and staff for very accommodating. This is a place that is a must to try out.
Highly recommended for those who travel to false you Casino Resort it's always good to stop over into St catherines for a good seafood meal this is great dining.

Good food. Nice place; a little out-dated in terms of decor and furniture but that didn't really matter. It's clean and well maintained. Quiet place.
It is pricey, but you get highly professional and knowledgable waiters and good food.

Decent steak house. Nice atmosphere. Nothing out of the ordinary or impressive and the food was kind of bland.
Table side ceaser salad was decent but nothing to brag about. The check is not itemized and just says food and liquor. Technically you dont really know what your paying for. And if you ask for a breakdown of your bill, they will get upset and tell you there register is from the 80s.
Good spot to check out once but I wouldn't go again.

The food was delicious. I had the lobster bisque and king crab legs with butter pecan pie for dessert - all to die for. My husband had french onion soup, surf and turf, and the cheesecake and loved it all as well.
Very attentive, formal service that you don’t find in many places these days - I never had to ask for a thing as someone was always right there anticipating my needs.
The price point is on the higher end (especially if you order king crab) but I felt it was worth the quality of food and service.

My fiancé and I just celebrated our birthdays at the Blue Mermaid. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the best part... the service! Our waiter, Gus, was fantastic. He made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Gus!

The Best steak House out side of Toronto my wife Debra have been going to the Blue Mermaid for over 45 years and the service & the food is on the scale 1 to 10 we give it a 10 Nick & Gus are the best hey boys keep up the great work.Rick & Deb Bisson
