Great place to chill with friends! The beer was cold, tasty, and easy to enjoy. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. I came for one drink... somehow stayed for a few more. Definitely worth a visit! 🍻
I was in the area, so stopped in, intending to buy a few cans of beer to take home. Suddenly, I remembered they had brewed Garden City, a special beer to commemorate St. Catharines sesquicential, and was told it was only available on tap. Naturally, I had to try it, so I sat at the bar. Unfortunately, the keg was empty, so I had to wait for the bartender to change it. It was worth the wait! Great place to grab food and catch soort games on the many TVs. I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich with a side of fries. It was delicious. Caught the end of the Jays game, than caught the second half of the world Cup match.

Cold Break Brewing offers a great menu with a variety of options to try. Prices for food are reasonable, while beer prices may be slightly steep at $8.50. The atmosphere is excellent, and the patio is a fun spot to relax. Entrees are generally great, and the whipped ricotta is outstanding, something not seen often enough. Although the garlic bread was inconsistent at times, the restaurant has a loyal following and is conveniently located near the train station.
Service can vary; while some customers experienced delays, others found it excellent. The fish tacos are a favorite, though there were some concerns about the corn tortillas not holding up well. The pretzels were standard, but the cheese dip received praise. Overall, Cold Break Brewing is a must-visit for those looking for great beers and amazing food.
