Hewad Kabab and Shawarma

Tried this spot out today after getting a recommendation from a friend. Tried the half chicken dinner tonight. I had take out and had to make a few stops before getting back home. Food was still very flavorful. I enjoyed my meal. Definitely was very filling. Sauces that came with it also added a punch of flavour. I would suggest trying them out for some delicious Afghan food.

Rude employees

I order the shami kebab on uber and asked for some extra sides. They sent a lot more than I expected and the food was great as always.

stoped in for a quick lunch, it was delicious and super fast. The man at the counter was so nice and helpful when trying to pick what to eat.

I had an amazing experience at Hewad Kabob. The food is truly exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and cooked with real care. Every dish tasted authentic and comforting, especially the kabobs, which were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. The staff are very kind, attentive, and make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

The restaurant is clean, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, Hewad Kabob is one of the best halal Afghan spots I’ve visited. Highly recommended!

Every restaurant and Customer’s first point of interaction matters a lot
but they miss it here. Lack of service and reputation towards customer is a big no from their side.

I rarely leave bad reviews , but the customer service here was extremely disappointing. The staff was unhelpful, rude and acted like the didn’t want customer around . The food might be fine but the way customers were treated completely ruins the experience. I definitely not be coming back.

First time went there to try something new, but was disappointed, staff was bit rude ,their negligence toward customers was unbelievable. They didn’t bother to acknowledge or qanswer questions properly, and acted like serving customers was a burden for them.

I had a very disappointing experience here today. One of the employees spoke to me rudely for no reason, and the attitude was completely unprofessional. As a customer, I expect basic respect, but I left feeling uncomfortable. Management seriously needs to train their staff on proper behavior.
