My partner has an anaphylactic food allergy and we appreciate that all ingredients are posted and transparent! Buns and ingredients are always fresh and staff and owner are beyond friendly. Great specials and great food. Can't go wrong!

Unfortunately, my experience at Lake Street Subs was pretty disappointing. The food didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the premium pricing.

The sub I ordered was far from fresh — the bun was dry and stale, and the mayo had a slightly off taste that made the whole thing unappetizing. For a place charging higher prices, I expected much better quality.

Overall, it was a sub-par experience (no pun intended), and I won’t be returning anytime soon.

$23.20 for a club sub (ham, Turkey and bacon) asked and paid for extra cheese and extra bacon. Here is what I received…. Mostly lettuce. Total rip off

Aug 8 2025 - We had a great experience with the 2 women working today. The wrap we got was STUFFED with fresh veggies and was by far the best I have had from any shop. The sandwich we got was also loaded with the fixings! Yet another great visit. 10/10

Best sub have had in years, assorted deluxe on GF bun with extra toppings. Great staff aware of celiac and gluten allergies and take the proper precautions.

Definitely not worth going to. For the price of the the sub and how much meat was on it wouldn't go here again. 33$ for 2 subs and a water. I got the turkey, ham and bacon sub, 1 slice of turkey 1 slice of ham and 2 pieces of bacon. Most expensive sub i ever ate.

Very cute spot, staff were very friendly. Subs were awesome. Very accommodating for my partner with celiac disease. Gluten free sub buns also sourced locally from edible options which is great!!
